A true home away from home!
This property is ideal if you’re in San Francisco for a few days, especially for families. We had 6 people - 4 adults and 2 children. The beds were all super comfortable (the children slept on the sofa). There was plenty of space. The house has a real charm and you get to experience life in the suburbs of San Francisco. The house is well set up with internet and all the usual amenities. It is so well located - right on the Church and Duboce streets ( can download MuniMobile to buy tickets and get to town on 1 tram). It is also just around the corner from supermarkets and cafes. We hope to be back one day!

I am an artist/designer/entrepreneur venturing into the sharing economy for the first time. I grew up in Minnesota and after 2 years in the Peace Corps I moved to San Francisco in 1987.

I love my home, the city and the surrounding areas. I'm excited to share it with others.

Why they chose this property

This is an oasis without being off the beaten track. The combination of the comforts of this home and the amenities of the neighborhood, along with its location in the heart of multiple compelling districts make a stay here a great choice.

What makes this property unique

This house is a piece of history that has been updated for modern living. Built before the 1906 earthquake it has great character and presence. The high ceilings and the softwood floors enhance its warmth and sense of home.

I grew up in an older home built by a Czechoslovakian builder in the midwest. For me this house is the closet thing to that original family home. It just feels right.
