Great property in Crystal Beach area of Destin....THE PLACE TO BE! -This is the nicest condo in Caribbean Dunes - newly renovated, floor, refrigerator, tile, furniture, luxury linens, lighting, paint, even air conditioning !!
EVERTHING is new, very clean, and extremely comfortable. There are two master suites each with their own private bath (one with a jacuzzi tub). One is on the main floor and one is the spacious upstairs loft for plenty of privacy. There is a new queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Six can sleep comfortably and nobody is stuck with a bunk in the hall. The kitchen is quite large so there is plenty of room for the chefs in your group. We have just added beautiful glass tile backsplash and new appliances. There are plenty of pot, pans, and of course dishes, silverware, and glassware. The large balcony has terrific views of the Gulf and we have added lovely 18" travertine tile so it is smooth on your bare feet. Relax and enjoy the view, nice breeze, and sunshine.
Walk to the end of the block to Camille's, one of Destin's favorite restaurants, and enjoy a cocktail or a nice meal.

On October 4, 2022, the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners approved an increase to the county tourist tax rate from 5% to 6% for 2023 rentals. As VRBO cannot support a tax rate change for 2023 rentals booked in 2022, all 2023 bookings will have added a 1% administrative fee to all rents and fees collected.

Refreshing Getaway

We picked this property for the location and were not disappointed! Having young kids, we were glad to have both the beach and a pool just steps away. In all of our conversation, the hosts were very responsive and helpful. Thanks for a great getaway!

Long weekend!

We checked in Thursday and our Sunday! We planned to get in early Thursday and go to the beach until check in time. We had a bad drive in with our 2 year and the weather was horrible. We asked for an early check in and we got quick responses and they were able to accommodate! We were so happy!!!! The place was perfect for our family and had everything we needed. The proximity to the beach was amazing!! The pool was also great! There was never too many people there and everyone was friendly.

Amazing Space and Incredible Location

Our family had an awesome time in Destin, and the condo we stayed in was a big part of it. Our kids jaws dropped when we walked in because of the vaulted ceilings and wall hangings that gave it such a look of class. We loved the open kitchen, balcony with the partial ocean view and multiple bedrooms. The pool and hot tub were great for the days the ocean waves were too big. And the convenient location for the grocery store and hundreds of restaurants was very refreshing. The only two drawbacks were there isn't a smoking area near the condo. You have to walk off property. And the beach area across the street is very small. It's a short walk and has a nice shower to get the sand off. But the resorts take up the 100 yards to the east and 100 yards to the west. You only have about 60 feet of beach and it was crowded at times. We learned to get down there early. If you are willing to walk, there is plenty of public beach space a few blocks away. Overall this was a tremendous experience and we'll consider coming back to the same property.

Beautiful condo & view

Property was very clean and just as described. The view from the balcony was an unexpected surprise that we could still see the Gulf on each side of the condo directly in front of us. Owners were very responsive and went over and above with giving us recommendations of places to eat, play and see.

Amazing condo!

The condo is a great property so close to the beach and was decorated with the cutest mermaid theme! Since the weather didn’t really cooperate for our vacation, we were very grateful that the condo was so nice and the view from the balcony was lovely. We were able to spend 1 day at the beach and it was very nice. I can see that it would be very crowded during peak season, but it was perfect for us and we loved that there were beach chairs we could use right at the condo. The kitchen was stocked with practically everything you need including some basic spices and a fulll-size coffee maker. The pool area was also nice and well-outfitted with loungers and tables/chairs. The location is central to many restaurants and stores. We ended up walking just down the street to Camille’s for both breakfast (cinnamon rolls!) and dinner. The property owner is super responsive and made the rental process seamless. Highly recommended and we will definitely consider renting again, if we return to the Destin area.

It gives us great joy to rent to our vacationing guests and hear about what a wonderful time they had in Destin. Most of our guests come back year after year. We feel like they are family. We are always available for our guests and take great pride in giving each of them excellent customer service. Making wonderful family memories in Destin is what it is all about. We have so many with our own children.

Why they chose this property

Caribbean Dunes is at the quiet end of Scenic Gulf Drive and is absolutely relaxing. The area is known as Crystal Beach for the exceptionally clean clear water and sugar white sand. It is the best area of Destin. After staying in different areas ourselves this is where we knew we wanted to be. We are certain you will love it too.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this condo the minute we walked in the front door. It is larger than most we had seen. The kitchen is large and so is the balcony. The floor plan is unique with the two master bedrooms. We love that no one has to sleep in a hall bunk. The setting is lovely with tropical plants and flowers everywhere. It give you a wonderful feeling of rest and relaxation. You can hear the birds sing at this end of Destin. It's beautiful.
