Old West

  • 5 of 5

This cute little place stands in the perfect wild west setting. Love all the wild west decor inside and out. Love the fact we can open all the windows and french doors to let the nice wind and sunshine flow through. Stars are so bright and it's super private and quiet. I'll be back for sure.

Owner's Response: These were lovely guests! They left the cottage in great shape. Thank you for the thoughtful review. I wish I could have met you both in person. Maybe sometime in the future!

Good place to explore Cochise County.

We enjoyed our stay and I really want to give 4 1/2 stars instead of four. Clean, cute, and comfortable. Tombstone is a little hokey, but this small house is ideal if you are looking to relax away from city life for a few days or if you want to use it as a base for further exploration. In fact, there are many wonderful places to visit in Southern Arizona and the vistas as you travel are gorgeous. Tess has provided a notebook with pamphlets of all the places you can explore. We liked going out for the day and returning to the casita to cook our supper. So here was our downside. We stayed five days and found the lack of laundry facilities a problem, and the kitchen was a little awkward for cooking, and we discovered our phones didn't work for calls or messaging (Sprint). So the lack of wi-fi and cell data left us incommunicado. Otherwise the house is charming and Comfortable.

Wonderful casita

  • 4 of 5

Very pleasant living space--wonderfully designed space, creatively and caringly decorated in a low density housing area only a minute or so drive from downtown Tombstone. My only critique is the daytime intrusion of traffic sounds from nearby streets which detracts slightly from the otherwise idyllic outdoor lounging experience.

Clean, Comfortable and So Much Fun!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I loved staying here! We were close enough to everything we wanted to do but yet were out by ourselves with wildlife surrounding us! We sat on one side of home in the morning for coffee time and the other side of the home in the evening for a glass of wine. We watched a variety of birds, deer, and javelina's roam the area around us. The home itself is clean and comfortable. We hope to return!!

Lovely for a couples getaway

  • 5 of 5

Charming, spotless cottage, well stocked kitchen, beautiful views, and convenient to area attractions. We were there for the bird watching opportunities--the sand hill crane migration to southeastern Arizona, and then beautiful Ramsey Canyon near Sierra Vista. We hope to be back soon.

Cozy/romantic get away

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying at this adorable little house in Tombstone, Arizona and we could not love it any more!!! It is quaint, charming, cozy, very welcoming and very private!!! The views are stunning and everything you could need is at your finger tips inside the house. A well stocked kitchen makes whipping up meals a breeze and the claw tub in the bathroom gives the home a real "old west" feel. It a perfect place to relax and unwind. The house is a short walk or drive to town (we have done both). The owner is an absolute delight to work with!!! The only issue we have is that the road to the house is a dirt road and it is rough, especially on a motorcycle. If you are traveling in a vehicle, it wold not be quite as bad but you still need to take it slow. We highly recommend this home!!! Perfect for two!!!!
