We had good time IN SPITE of the following problems with the home we rented

Review:

1)Empty propane tank for grill.

2)Refrigerator leaking water constantly.

3)Broken Ice maker.

4)Chair in living room with four broken legs.

5)Faucets in sink downstairs not even connected.

6)Ventilation covers thick with dust and dirt

7)Stained bed quilt.

8)Dirty grill that had to be cleaned before use.

9)Generally dusty and dirty-poorly kept.

10)Stair banister very loose and wobbly.

11)Paint peeling off wall in DS bathroom

12)Door handle on sliding door to deck GONE.

13)Cabinet falling apart in downstairs BR

14)Big black ants especially downstairs.

15)Dangerous stairs right inside door with no way to attach gate to protect little kids.

16)Kitchen oven-very dirty.

17)Promised pool pass not available on our arrival-had to call to get next day-not even for our unit.

18)Parking horrible and dangerous. We got an $80.00 ticket for having 2 wheels on road up top-no mention in anything from owner/renter that this could be problem. Could have given us a head’s up.

19)Smoke alarm broken in basement.

20)Spider webs everywhere,

21)Chairs on deck not usable-dirty and mildew

22)Plastic still on lampshades-Fire hazard.

Everything was as advertized

Property manger was very easy to work with 100 percent will look forward to staying again next year

The house was not cleaned prior to our arrival. We found mice droppings downstairs in sheets and in the kitchen along with a dead mouse in the bathtub. Property manager was not helpful only sent one cleaning staff, to just clean the bathtub from mouse,who turned around and left the house without cleaning saying it was more than a one person job. Had to clean it ourselves, washed all bedding, cleaned all dishes and cabinets as they were dirty and had mouse dropping in the cabinets. Many things were broken in the house as well, stairwell railing, remotes, closet doors, blinds. ..This really disrupted a long planned vacation for our family for the holidays. Did not enjoy hearing mice at night very creepy. Will not rent here again.

Nice house with room for lots of kids. Good location with lots to do. We went hiking, summer tubing, and the waterpark all in one day.

One suggestion to the owner would be to get a large push broom to get the leafs off the walkway to the house. This would help keep leafs out of the house, especially with children coming in and out.
