Beautifully and lovingly restored 1898 Victorian home with wrap around porch and lush sideyard patio. The view from the porch is spectacular. The romantic and spacious master bedroom is on the second floor with a bathroom with clawfoot tub. Entire home is decorated with period furniture, draperies and art. The main floor includes parlor, formal dining room, kitchen, bedroom, sleeping porch (sleeps one), full bath and laundry room with washer and dryer. The home was featured on the Jerome Home Tour in 2008 and is approximately 1700 square feet.
The Pink Lady is located above the main shopping and entertainment area of Jerome so is within easy walking distance.
We were lucky enough to spend the weekend at the Pink Lady. Communication with Jennifer before arriving was excellent! Michael was there to lead us to the house. He was great about explaining the history of the house as well as the all of the wonderful amenities. He made us feel right at home! The house is well stocked with everything you would need to make meals- even had great coffee to take the chill off in the morning. The walk to town is short- albeit a bit steep on the way home. But it's a great way to work off that big dinner or breakfast you just had. It is a great benefit not having to drive around and find parking places in Jerome! The house itself is gorgeous. You can tell it was a labor of love and every little detail is makes this home a travel back in time . We admit we spent most of our time relaxing and enjoying the incredible views on the front porch. Be sure to get up for sunrise- you don't want to miss it! We made fast friends with the local cats, Cocoa and Gandalf the Grey. We hope Jennifer and Michael share their home with us again as it was just the perfect getaway. Thanks so much!!
Jennifer and Michael were both very helpful while planning our first weekend trip to Jerome/Sedona. The girlfriend loved the pink lady and all the decor. The home was very clean and all amenities were provided for a comfortable and relaxing weekend getaway. The Pink Lady is conveniently located just a short walk to everything in town and we both felt very safe staying here. Other tourists we met and many locals all shared several positives stories when they heard we we staying at the Pink Lady. YES - would absolutely stay here again!
I don't have enough good things to say about The Pink Lady and its owners, Jennifer and Michael!
My husband and I stayed here with our little dog for my birthday following the death of my father. I was in desperate need to get away and find some peace. This place provided exactly that. It was so romantic, amazingly unique, and had so much life and character I just wanted to stay in and enjoy the comforts of the place! I've never stayed somewhere that was so luxurious with such charm. We adored every room of the house. The artwork and intriguing decor in the home were so neat! You can really tell a lot of love and hard work went into making this house.
The shower provided plenty of hot water, even for freezing temperatures. The beds were very comfortable (a bit short for my 6'2 husband though lol). We stayed upstairs the first couple nights and then moved downstairs to the second bedroom the other nights just to enjoy everything. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need, even fresh coffee. We really didn't have any complaints, we just enjoyed it so much.
The view was absolutely phenomenal from the front porch as well as the upstairs side porch to nowhere. Leaving from the upstairs door there are some nice roads you can walk way up the mountain for some incredible views as well. We enjoyed feeding the kitties and hummingbirds. The kitties were friendly, even with our little dog, and we had visitors quite often. The patio was perfect for our dog and for just relaxing outside. I cant imagine what it will be like with warmer weather. Short walk down some stairs to get to the center of town.
I drive a honda accord coupe, it did have some difficulty navigating up the road but we managed. An SUV or truck would definitely be preferable but even in a smaller car it was possible.
As if the house itself wasn't special enough, the owners really make this property. My husband came down with food poisoning in the early morning hours the day we were leaving. Nowhere in town had any pepto bismal (their general store closed down) or even 7-up. There was no possible way we could have made it down the road to cottonwood that had no shoulder with how sick my husband was. I called Michael and he brought down some medicine for my husband and insisted we stay the night free of charge until my husband could travel. I have never been extended such kindness from a stranger and will never forget it.
We simply cannot wait to come back here, thank you both!
My husband and our kids stayed at the Pink Lady. From the friendly arrival to the easy check out , it was a dream come true , Artistically furnished with antiques , and knick knacks we spent much of our time just exploring every inch of the house . The porch was so beautiful with a view to die for . This was one of the best experiences we have had , and plan on coming back again and again. Conveniently located close to town , just a stroll down the boardwalk away!. a historic place we will never forget , thank you for opening your home to us .
My wife and I along with our 2 kids (15,11) and our dog spent a perfect weekend at the Pink Lady. We have stayed in hotels and other rentals in Jerome in the past, and all were great, but not in comparison to this lovely home. It's location was the perfect balance of quiet peacefulness and convenience to just go down steps to experience everything Jerome has to offer. The wonderful owners have the house equipped with all the comforts of home. Bring some dinks and groceries and you may never want to leave.
I didn't know much about Jerome until after we arrived so initially I was a little freaked out by the decor. But then I learned more about the town and explored the endless awesomeness of this beautiful house. I fell in love! I didn't want to leave! It's Victorian decor with lots and lots of splashes of creepiness and fun in every nook and cranny. The upstairs area is a large room and bath with exit to the road where you park. Downstairs had another bedroom and bath as well as a "miners room" off to the side with another small bed. The home has ample space and absolutely everything you need.
The front porch is adorable. My dog sat out there for two days straight watching the hummingbirds and making friends with the local stray cats. The view from the porch is breathtaking. There is also a lookout upstars as well.
The location was incredible. Short walk down the boardwalk and some steps to the town.
Road is a little treacherous to get up so I'd bring a truck or suv or at least a car that doesn't sit too low to the ground.
We all had a memorable weekend with my friend before he moves back to the Midwest; I can't imagine it having been any better! I hope to return with my parents! Thanks Pink Lady!
