Lovely home

  • 5 of 5

I have a "don't let out the secret" feeling about this house but I'll do it anyway! This house is so thoughtfully decorated and appointed and very, very comfortable. The kids loved the upstairs bedroom with the 3 twins. We loved the big back porch. Walking distance to everything in town and a short drive to the beaches. Thank you so, so much for the stay and we're already working on a date for 2017!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you love the house as much as we do! Wait till you see the improvements for 2017- full bath downstairs and expanded kitchen/family room with a gas fireplace! It will be even more warm and inviting. I hope you come back to see it!

Beautiful home, lots to do

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful quiet home in the heart of old Lewes. Walking distance to restaurants. We ate and slept well and enjoyed side trips to the Prime Hook National Wildlife Preserve and Cape Henlopen State Park which has an incredible beach. And if you go to Rehoboth Beach be sure to stop at Henlopen City Oyster House - the dozen oyster selection is served perfectly and deliciously. A recommendation from our friend Steve who owns Gidgets Gadgets on Rehoboth Avenue - be sure to stop there too!

Relaxing Thanksgiving Holiday in a wonderful small town

  • 5 of 5

My husband, two daughters and two goldens just returned from a great thanksgiving holiday at Cheryl's beautiful beach home. Everything was even nicer than we expected, the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, we played games and really enjoyed the lovely screened in porch (thank you mother nature for some fabulous weather!). Cheryl was great to work with, if only all VRBO owners were so kind!!! Lewes is a very charming small town with some great restaurants, Agave, Taste of Italy, Striper Bites, Irish eyes!!! No bad meal was had and it is so great to be able to walk everywhere. We enjoyed looking at old the beautiful old homes while out walking the dogs at night too. Very safe neighborhood. We tried several beaches, Lewes, cape Henlopen and even drove to Broadkill where the dogs could go off leash. Rehoboth is close by too if you want more action. My youngest daughter loved the adorable kid's bedroom too and mom was in heaven over all the beachy decorations in the house. If I were to have a beach house, this would be it!! Thank you for a truly memorable holiday!

Memorial Weekend

  • 5 of 5

What a perfect beachy cottage to enjoy with family! The room sizes are larger in life than they appear in the photos. The decorating touches are so perfect and charming. We all agreed that the back porch is truly a slice of heaven -- we practically lived out there!! Definitely a great find - we would love to come back to stay again. Cheryl, you were awesome to work with - thank you so much.
