Cozy one-bedroom 40 sqm apartment (2 separate beds) with living room (incl. extra sofa bed 1.40 x 2 m) , kitchen & bathroom . The apartment is located on Vas. Sofias, in Athens' most central and important Avenue. The apartment is 300 meters from the US Embassy and 400 meters from the Concert Hall, very close to the metro station.

The apartment is located at the basement level of the apartment building with direct access to a private patio. The patio provides light and fresh air to the room, living room and kitchen, and is the only place that is allowed to smoke. WiFi connection is available (free).
The apartment features low energy consumption characteristics: LED lights, class A ++ appliances (i.e. microwave oven, A/C inverter system installed in the living room) and a magnetic card key connected to the power supply. A TV is installed in the living room. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a French coffee machine and a hot water kettle. There is also ironing facilities. Fresh clean towels and sheets will be offered. They will be changed every 4th day.
The building is opposite the Hippocratic Hospital and the Athens "Tower" , 300 meters away from the US Embassy and 400 meters away from the Athens "MEGARON" Concert Hall.

Vasilissis Sofias (Βασιλίσης Σοφίας) Boulevard is an important avenue on the eastern side of Athens in the Greek capital. Many historic buildings and landmarks are located on the boulevard, such as the old royal palace (today the Greek Parliament) and the National Gardens of Athens, the mansions of very important Greeks and foreigners (today are hosting houses, embassies and museums) i.e. of the Greek Prime Minister Eleftherios Venizelos - now a part of the British embassy, the mansion of Sofia de Marbois-Lebrun, the Duchess of Plaisana - now the Byzantine and Christian museum, the mansion of Othon Stathatos - today part of the Goulandris Cycladic Art Museum ).
Vasilissis Sofias Avenue is one of the most elegant and famous streets of the Greek capital.

The bus station is located at the entrance of the building, while the metro station is just 300 meters away. Taxis are easy to find just outside the building. Walking in the center of Athens (Syntagma Square, Plaka, Kolonaki) is very pleasant and recommended.
