This cozy little cottage sits on the lakefront in a large, deep water cove just off the main channel @ the 11 mile marker. Located in a quiet residential area with paved public road and paved driveway bringing you right to your door. The cottage is located on a gently sloped property with only a few steps from the door to the lake.
Enjoy 130 feet of lakefront plus private dock with swim platform and 1 slip of a 2 slip boat dock for your own use. Under-cover slip can hold a 25 foot boat, plus 2 outside dock spaces for longer boats. Also enjoy easy access to lake for swimming or wading for little ones. A patio is located on the vintage boathouse roof for outside dining or relaxing while overlooking the cove and main channel views. Boat trailer storage area is available on the property, and a nice public boat launch (Shawnee Bend Access) is only a half a mile away.
Owners completed interior renovations in 2014, a general spruce-up, and refurnishing of this darling vintage cottage, and it is completely ready for guests to enjoy!
This cottage houses a bunk room with a set of bunks and a twin (total of 3 twins), and second bedroom with a queen bed. One bath with shower stall only. Owners have thoughtfully decorated it in a pleasing vintage lake cottage style that it was and is meant to be.
The cottage is small, but very efficient, with modern amenities: updated bathroom; a newly installed, fully equipped kitchenette with stainless steel appliances (all electric) and new cabinetry with granite countertop. Furnishings include a TV, DVD player & Wi Fi; also new area rugs, curtains, mattresses, bedding and linens, and a high capacity on-demand hot water heater. No laundry facilities on property.
This cottage is NEAR all the action, but not in it, if you don’t want to be.

This little cottage is small but very efficient with modern amenities. It is a vintage cottage and is decorated with vintage fishing decor. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. The bunk room is a great place for kids to reconnect and whisper secrets into the night.
This place was absolutely fantastic! Me and my friends stayed here for three days and as college kids it was a great place on a budget and we had a great time. The dock was great to hangout, fish, and swim right on the lake. We can't wait to come back next year!
We can't say enough nice things about our stay here! My wife and I went for 5 nights(the cottage is perfect and cozy for a couple, and with 2 bunkbeds in the second bedroom, there would have been room for kids as well). It is nicely updated and was very clean. Steps to the dock where I fished and we swam (great, calm cove, but you can still see the main channel as well). Loved the little platform above the boat garage with a table and six chairs where we had a steak dinner and a bottle of wine on night.
Karen is very quick to respond. Check in and check out was a breeze. And the location is great with the new toll bridge; minutes away from Bagnell Dam, JB Hooks (awesome dining) and the outlets and whatnot.
We walked over to Ozark Barbecue the first night after we got settled in (maybe a 5 minute walk, if that).
Plenty of on demand hot water, great water pressure, and again, everything was newer and very clean!
We liked our stay so much, we are now looking at buying a cabin on the lake in the near future!
Thanks Karen for a great vacation!

The cottage was easy to get to. It had everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed grilling out on the patio grill both nights we stayed. The bunkbeds were perfect for the kids. Everyone enjoyed swimming off the docks just steps from the cottage and being in a nice quiet cove was a plus for young kids. Very close to boat rentals, we rented a jet ski and a boat from Pirates Point which was great. The cottage was very homey and nicely decorated. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone. The manager was very quick to answer any questions we had. We had a wonderful time!
