Great house and location

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our ability to be with friends in this lovely home. We chose a house over hotels so we could enjoy everyone's company. Perfect spot!

Awesome location, awesome house!

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect place to stay in Annapolis. This is a beautiful historic home that is very comfortable. I stayed with a big group of friends to attend a wedding at The Academy, and it was perfect. The location is unbeatable. There was great communication with the owners, and everything went smoothly.

Great house, great location, great owners.

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed twice at this property. We stayed for four nights for Naval Academy 2nd Class Parents Weekend in the fall of 2015 (we rented two rooms as B&B guests) and we rented the entire house for Commissioning Week in May 2017. There are so many great things about this property. The location is unbeatable, whether you are there to visit downtown Annapolis (you’re in it) or to visit the Naval Academy. It is so close to Gate 1 (maybe 200 yards) that I could walk to Gate 1 to check security lines so we could judge when to leave the house for various events during Commissioning Week. The house is only about a 20-25 minute walk to the stadium; so we did not have to deal with traffic for the USNA Graduation ceremony. The house has plenty of bedrooms and you can entertain lots of visitors. You can have a group visiting in the front rooms and another group visiting in the den. That was very convenient when our Midshipmen and his friends were staying up late during Commissioning Week. When we rented the whole house, the kitchen was well stocked with basics (seasonings, coffee filters, cooking spray, etc.). You also have use of the washer and dryer in the basement. The owners are very accommodating and are responsive if any issues arise. The Hillman parking garage (the owners provide discount coupons for this garage) was super convenient for our guests and they always could find a space in the garage all during Commissioning Week. We did not rent a car because the location of the house is so convenient. Street parking is limited to two hours so during Commissioning Week our Midshipman son would park his vehicle at the Academy and then walk to the house to sleep with us. We also had a great experience when we stayed at this property in September 2015 as B&B guests. The breakfast prepared by the hosts was delicious. Bottom line - you will not be disappointed if you stay at this property.
