Peaceful, Lovely Lakeside Retreat
We really enjoyed our stay - the views of the mountains and the lake through the changing weather were really special, and the rental had everything we needed. We enjoyed the deck and listening to the birds. It’s a little ways out of town, but no problem with a car, and being lakeside is worth a little distance.

We are very happy with the cabin experience.
The cabin is so close to town so getting by to get supplies and food was easy. Our stay was convenient and the cabin is very cozy. My son loved the loft! The cabin has everything we needed. The owners are very friendly and on time when we needed assistance. Thank you Bob and Joan!

Little slice of heaven
My husband, myself and boys ages 8 & 10 loved staying here. The view can't be beat, and Bob and Joanie are fabulous. We visited friends in Cordova and were out and about every day hiking, fishing and exploring which worked out well as the common and dining area is pretty compact. The cabin was very clean and had some very nice touches. Would love to go back sometime.

About the host

Bob and Joanie, the new owners of the Lodge, welcome you to their back yard. They live on the same lake (1/2 mile away), they LOVE Cordova, and their priorities include family, friends, visitors, and God.

Not necessarily in that order....

Why they chose this property

Cordova is a plethora of stunning sights and earthy smells and lively personalities. We cannot drive home without feeling blessed to live here, as we look at Queen's Chair. We cannot walk down the streets without seeing someone stop in the middle of the road to say "hi". And we cannot go through a year without some new great Alaskan story. It's a wild, constant adventure....all mixed up with moments of serenity.

What makes this property unique

We chose to buy this particular property because the neighborhood is gentle and quiet....the spectacular views change by the moment...and the time was right to start a new adventure. It will only take an evening watching the colors on the mountains to see why anyone would love this place.... come see.
