We are absolutely in love with the Beautiful Black Hills and all the nature that abounds here.
We are animal, nature and people, people.
Terry or Bill purchased this house in 2011
Both my folks are from South Dakota and I always loved the state so when my husband and I came here for our first Sturgis Rally we fell in love with the hills and it's people, decided to retire here, started looking for our out of town place in Custer and surrounding areas and here we are !!! This is so beautiful to wake up to.
This rental is located close to HIKING, WALKING AND BIKING TRAILS, and in a nice, quiet setting with great neighbors.
We enjoyed our stay in this home away from home. It was very clean and well kept. It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to see in the area ---Crazy Horse; Mt Rushmore; and Custer State Park. We even took 1-2 hr drives to see Deadwood and Devils Tower. We did have issues with our cell phone reception, which was not something the owners could control. The owners were responsive whenever we made any inquiries. Our only suggestion would be a hairdryer.
We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Custer! Very clean and well kept.
The rental had everything that we needed and was very clean.
The stay was excellent
This was the perfect place for our family to stay. Close to all the sites we wanted to see. Terry and Bill has the house ready and they were very easy to work with.
I stayed here with four other adults (two couples and one single) and it was a nice amount of space. We brought in a deck chair for eating at the dining table and for additional living room seating. Mattresses are on the soft side, so a bit uncomfortable for me. The house was clean and well maintained. We had a nice stay here.
Property was easy to find and within walking distance of downtown Custer, which was a perfect home base for visiting Southwestern SD. Nice 3 bedroom, two bath with complete kitchen, full size washer and dryer, and plenty of bedding and towels. Furnishings are a little dated (esp. bedding), but everything was VERY clean and comfortable. Nice yard for kids. Secure and quiet area. Owners were very easy to work with and had everything ready to go as we rolled up. Would definitely visit again!
