Wonderful stay. Very spacious, comfortable and clean. Great outdoor front area and gated so was perfect for the little kids to be able to play and enjoy the scenery. Overall highly recommend and will definitely be back

Great spot for family gathering

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was a good size to accommodate three families (6 adults, 3 kids and an infant). Location is excellent as a base to explore the area. House was fully equipped to cater for our needs during our 5 day stay.

Great getaway far enough away from the city to relax

A group of 6 friends getting away to recharge our batteries for the year ahead. Plenty of outdoor spaces to relax, property was very clean and everything went smoothly. Couple of early hiccups, but they were soon forgotten as we relaxed in the lounge spaces and started to unwind. Definitely will be back to explore more of the McLaren Vale region.

Fun among the vines

Our stay at this property was all we expected it to be. The house provided our family members with lots of space both indoors and outdoors, plus our dogs had lots of fun in the large fully fenced garden. The entire property was spotless with very comfy beds and couches. Our family took the opportunity of visiting wineries, the beach and the Cockle Train, plus travelling to Adelaide. A great location that is so accessible to so many places and activities. A great stay and would highly recommend to everyone.

Charles & Janice love living on the Fleurieu, they grow cabinet grapes, collect honey from their bees, and grow lovely vegetables and fruit. They have traveled extensively around the world and have come to know what makes a stay comfortable, they have used this knowledge to establish Flat Creek Retreat for your enjoyment.

It is set in the middle of the McLaren Vale wine district, it can be your base for wine, food and festivals here and right into the Fleurieu Peninsula. It offers private self contained accommodation for 3-5 couples or families. It has multiple lounge and entertaining areas and room to play!
