Bedrooms 1, Bathrooms 1.5, Sleeps 2
Overall a very clean and organized unit. Great location and scenery. We enjoyed access to the lake, the dock and the sporting equipment. The cabin was well setup and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. My only complaint would be the hair dryer was missing from our unit. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would rent this unit again.
Hidden in the Ozarks
The interior was very nice with everything we needed. We enjoyed the hottub and the view from our deck. The scenery leading to the cabin was breath-taking. However, the distance down to the water from the cabin was very disappointing. It was a very steep, long climb, making it impossible to bring anything to the dock. Had we realized this before we went we probably would not have booked this place.
The Ozarks surrounding Beaver Lake are often steep, although, this property has a great set of steps down to the water. (The listing says 100 steps and there are several photos of the steps and shore). The walk to the lake provides great exercise. Although, I would agree that anyone with mobility issues may have trouble with the numerous steps.
We are a family of 6 and had a wonderful time at the Blue Water Lodge! It is a beautiful house on the beautiful Beaver Lake. We brought our boat and thoroughly enjoyed the lake pretty much every day. We did go into Eureka Springs and saw the ThornCrown Cathedral (awesome!), shopped on 'mud street', saw the Crescent Hotel, and ended the day at the Passion Play. Absolutely loved everything! The management was very hospitalable, and helped us out VERY much when we were in a jam. Forever Gratetful!! THANK YOU!!!
