2-bedroom, 1-bath waterfront cottage with dock in historic Long Point community
About Duncan Adamson
We are a family of four living in South Burlington, Vermont - just 15 miles north of the cottage. We all enjoy the outdoors - hiking, skiing, boating, biking, swimming, etc. - and the cottage is a great leaping-off point for all of those things! We love to share it with others who enjoy it as much as we do.
Duncan Adamson purchased this Cottage in 2013
Why Duncan Adamson chose Ferrisburgh
We fell in love with the place as soon as we saw it. The view, the location, the charming shingled cottage, the wonderful Long Point neighborhood... It is an easy place to love!
What makes this Cottage unique
We've joked that we would have bought the place if it was just a front porch. It is such a perfect place to look out at the lake and enjoy time with friends and family.

Clean, comfortable and charmingly rustic. Beautiful setting right on the cove. The owner was very communicative with us answering all questions promptly. Even met him, lovely fellow.
There was a kayak and a canoe for use. All this and very close to the venue at Kingsland Bay Park.
We loved our stay and would like to return. The location was perfect with access to Lake Champlain off a long dock and kayaks and a canoe for exploring. The fishing was fantastic out on the lake as well and off the dock. The cabin was really clean and had quality bedding, towels and kitchen supplies. The owner, Duncan, made sure all our needs were met. The AC and WiFi were a real treat. The area offers great dining options and and a theater we went to on a rainy day.
We had a great time staying at this location! The owner went over and above to communicate quickly and help us with any questions we had. The place has a great cozy feel to it, and had everything we needed. We wish there wasn’t as much seaweed and more of a beachy area to enter the water so our kids could swim easier, but we loved fishing off the dock and using the canoe. The dock was so nice! Highly recommend.
Perfect place to hang with family for a week
It could not have been more perfect. Would absolutely recommend this place. The owner, Duncan was very attentive. He even took us out on his boat twice.
Beautiful camp. 5 minute from rt7.
We had a awesome weekend at the lake. The dock was protected from the wind which made it easy to park the boat. I will be back.
Lovely unplugged getaway
This was a lovely and relaxing place to stay on the lake. Easily accessible to Burlington and Bristol where we did our visiting. The owner was very attentive and helpful. We would love to see the addition of WIFI and a washer/dryer would have been ideal for the time period we stayed. All in all a wonderful stay!
This is one of approximately 125 cottages in the historic Long Point community - located on some of the most beautiful shoreline of Lake Champlain.
