Quaint Gumnut Cottage - isolated and private for one couple.

Gumnut Cottage is isolated and private. A delightful quaint cedar cottage for two people located on the grounds of Redgum Hill Country Retreat on the Blackwood River. Redgum Hill Country Retreat is located in the heart of south Western Australia. The property close to wineries, 15ks to Nannup and 25ks to Balingup. Being centrally located in the south west it is around an hours drive to Margaret River, Busselton, Augusta, Pemberton, Bunbury and Bridgetown. The cottage overlooks the river and adjacent forest and has one attic bedroom with a Juliet balcony. Down stairs comprises a kitchenette, bathroom with shower and WC and a generous living area for two people. There is a verandah on which the cedar spa is located. The cottage is approximately 20 metres from the main house but very private. Guests can sit on the Juliet balcony overlooking the forest and river enjoying the birds and wildlife. Our cottage has a Kent fire and air-conditioning. It's a perfect place for a romantic and peaceful stay.

Wonderful experience

Neat and tidy, Derik was very helpful. It's a perfect place to relax. I would recommend this place and rating will be 5/5. Definitely going back with family.

Secluded Getaway

We enjoyed a secluded getaway weekend at this lovely cottage near Nanup. Our hosts greeted us and communicated in a timely fashion and the cottage was, as advertised. Lovely outlook towards the bush in a beautiful tranquil location.

3 night recharge getaway

Dirk met us with a lovely bottle of cherry and chocolates. Gumnut cottage is just the perfect cozy, relaxing getaway set on Dirk and Judith’s stunning property. Waking to the sounds of the farm across the river and birds every morning was delightful. Highly recommended.

Unplugged and Relaxed!
