About Lisa Pippen
I purchased this home brand new in 2005, as a vacation home for my mother, myself, and family. Soon after, Mom's cancer returned and she passed away. Alas, I have never lived in this home, it has been used on weekends, and by winter guests (snowbirds), Executive Contractors, Border Patrol, and is in PRISTINE condition! I pay close attention to detail, to maintain it in this condition, and hope my guests treat it as they would their own... I do consider it as a potential retirement home for myself in the next few years. :-)

This home has the perfect open concept layout for family and friends to mingle, and connect - yet enough privacy between bedrooms that you can slip away for some quiet time. The Southwest bedroom has a flat screen with a Firestick providing Netflix, Amazon and M-Go for your viewing pleasure. The location is the BEST in Yuma! We are on the northeast side of Yuma in the Foothills, which is 20 mins. close to Martinez Lake, Fishers Landing, and Yuma Proving Ground. I've enjoyed going to the river for approx. 20+ years , and love the sights, smells, beauty, and peacefulness of the flowing water... the quiet nites with stars so clear and bright in the sky... you feel like you could reach out and touch them.... It is soooo very relaxing, to get away from the hub-ub of city life... whirring about so fast.... to stop and smell the cactus, its a nice change of scenery, don't you think???
What makes this House unique
This home is located in the peaceful & desirable Mesa Del Sol development, just north of Freeway 8. It is a corner lot in a very nice family oriented, residential neighborhood (neighbors are all Border Patrol and Military). The new work out gym, "24/7 Get Fit" opened June 1, 2018 and is a short 1 block away!!! We are a short 2 blocks away from: McDonald's, Jack in the Box, STARBUCKS!!!, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, an Auto Zone, several gas stations, a Fire Station...and less than 1 mile from: Frye's grocery store, Denny's restaurant, Chase Bank, Applebee's restaurant, and other local restaurants; a Readi-Care for any emergency doctor needs, a Library, and Sheriff's station. .. well, as you can see, there is everything - I mean EVERYTHING you could need or want, within a very short distance. There is great shopping at Yuma Palms Mall, just 15 minutes away, including Harkin's Movie Theater for entertainment, Ross, Marshall's, Bed Bath Beyond, Target, Kirklands, Dillard's, and there's a water park with miniature golf for the kids! And don't miss a visit to the Colorado River - about 20 minutes away! For our military guests, MCAS is just 11 miles away, and for military/contractor workers: we are one of the closest properties to YPG (Yuma Proving Grounds) being 20-25 mins away. Security camera's are located at front door, garage and patio, for guests security and peace of mind.

100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival date.
We would highly recommend staying in this home. It was beautiful, the host was wonderful.
So comfortable, felt at home. It was clean, didn't feel you had to wash things before you used them or sat on the furniture. Could not ask for a better host. She is delightful and so happy we got to meet her. It was as advertised! We look forward to returning to Yuma and renting this house again.

What a great stay in a beautiful house it couldn’t have been better it was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. In a nice quiet area. We would gladly rent it again for our next golf trip.
