Relax in a peaceful, private, low tech environment surrounded by Mother Nature. The town of High Springs with antiques, gift shops, and restaurants is 6 miles away; Gainesville (and the UF Gators) is 30 miles away. Beautiful parks and spring fed rivers and hiking / biking trails are close by. Cave divers and snorkeling at world renowned Ginnie Springs is 1 mile upriver. We have a comfy full size bed, DVD player, dvd's, games and books. Outside you will find a screened porch to watch the wildlife and birds. We have a bar-b-que and a fire pit. The hammock swings between two shady trees.
The gate from the cabin leads to a small, pristine spring right on the Santa Fe River.

Peaceful
My husband and I have stayed here 3 times. This is a great property to unplug from society and just enjoy the woods and each other. The property has everything you need to enjoy the outdoors including the beautiful woods, deer, campfire, hammock, grill and the springs are just outside the gate. Thank you, MaryAnn and Dave, for sharing your beautiful property with us.

Delightful!
The cabin, its setting in the woods, and our lovely hosts were all Delightful! Small, tiny, cozy, but perfect in so many ways. Cute cabin decor and furnishings too. Excellent binder of literature provided interesting and helpful information regarding the area. The hosts are communicative and helpful; they definitely deserve their Premier Host status. We look forward to staying with them again!

Spring Hunters
We only live 2 hours away and we’ve been coming to High Springs for years. Ginnie is usually where we camp, but I decided to rent a cabin this time. All I can say is that we enjoyed our stay 100%. The owners greeted us when we got there even though it was raining. They helped us with anything we needed throughout our entire stay. We loved the 2 separate springs and state park that we’re all in walking distance from the cabin. Doug at Rum 138 is amazing if your looking to rent a kayak or canoe. The hospitality at both places was so nice. We will definitely be going back. Perfect spot for two people, shower was hot, fire pit was nice, decent sized mini fridge. We loved that our cabin was tucked into the middle of the woods, away from everything.

Natural Paradise
Beautiful property. Unfortunately, we had a great deal of rain so could not enjoy the outside as much as we would have liked

We are both retired and love where we live and love to share it with others. The cabin is private, in a clearing in the woods. Our house is on the other end of the property.
We are from St. Louis, but have lived in Florida for over 40 years.
