Welcome to: Oxoboxo Lake Cottage
Year round lakefront cottage. Enjoy your own beach, dock, fire pit , new outdoor kitchen, and covered porch. Sit in the 3 season sun room with ceiling fan and take in the view or read a good book on the wicker sofa. Head into the open concept living room/ kitchen through the french doors. Sit in front of the gas fire place or catch a good movie on the Amazon Firestick. When it is time for bed enjoy the bedroom with king size bed and a view of the lake or go up the spiral staircase where you can find 2 twin beds or push them together for an added king size bed and a view of the lake.
During the day enjoy our own half moon beach with 2 lounge chairs and access to the water. Enjoy the day fishing off the dock or use the kayaks provided for a scenic trip around the lake. In the evening sit out at the bench and look out at the lake or enjoy a nice fire in the fire pit. Please note we do have firewood for 5.00 per crate.

Beautiful Lakeside

We stayed for four nights while enjoying fall colors in Connecticut. Great home base for our excursions. Lots of cute towns within half hour. Very comfortable bed. Really enjoyed the deck in the afternoon sun.

escape from Florida heat!

This is a beautiful home right on a very beautiful lake. The owner provides kayaks and a gorgeous setting to relax. It rained during our downtime so we did not use beach set up available or the fire pit but the porch and large widows allowed us to enjoy the outdoors and peacefulness we needed. Victoria the owner made it very easy and welcoming.

Girls Weekend Getaway

Positives: Property was very clean and the views were gorgeous! A very relaxing, peaceful and comfortable place to rent. The owner was very responsive with communication and getting back to me if I had any questions. Negatives: The house could have been better stocked e.g. we had to bring plastic wrap and foil, and had to go buy cookie sheets because there were none in the house. The listing had some inaccuracies and conflicting info i.e. wrong size bed listed and mentioned hot tub when there was none. After paying for the rental in full on Vrbo, I received an email containing a 9 page rental agreement with many rules, and the email stated: "Signed agreement within 48 hours of booking. No signed rental agreement, or ID no access, no refund, no exceptions!" My friends and I have rented many properties together and this was the first one that required a signed rental agreement. In spite of the negatives, it was a great cottage to stay in and us ladies had a great time! We would definitely rent here again.

Amazing weekend getaway!

Such a relaxing weekend in a beautiful home. The house was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. We brought our paddle boards and spent the weekend on the lake enjoying the scenery and sunshine. Victoria was great with communicating and check in/check out was smooth. 10/10 recommend!!
