This is a large home located on Historic Route 66 in west Waynesville just a short distance to the west gate of Ft. Leonard Wood down a beautiful scenic drive. It is a spacious home with lots of room to relax. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on the main floor and 1 bedroom upstairs. It has a nice sitting area in front of the gas fireplace. About Brenda Lewis

My family moved to Waynesville when I was a small child and I graduated here. I grew up as a high school principals daughter so I knew many people in the school system which was a large part of our small town. After graduation I relocated to the Lake of the Ozarks where I owned and operated a retail nursery, greenhouse, florist and landscaping business. I then moved to Columbia, Missouri for a few years where I got my start in real estate as a leasing agent at a large property management company. In 2001 I returned home to Waynesville and purchased a fitness center where I enjoyed helping people to become healthy. In the meantime, I purchased the rental property and now just own and manage rentals full time. I have years of experience in the business.

Brenda Lewis purchased this house in 2003

Why Brenda Lewis chose Waynesville

I purchased this property in 2003 and has been a long term rental but decided to furnish it in May, 2015 and make it a family vacation home mainly due to families needing a place that they can be together when coming to Ft. Leonard Wood for graduations. Also, people who travel across the states on Historic Route 66 enjoy staying in places along the route.

What makes this house unique

This property is conveniently located to town but has the laid back country feel. It's so relaxing to sit on the front porch and watch the wildlife.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Eight members of our men's softball team stayed here for the weekend while playing in a tournament in nearby Lebanon, Missouri. The accommodations were comfortable and roomy. Brenda was very helpful and made us feel at home. We would definitely stay again the next time we're playing in the area.

Would highly recommend!

  • 5 of 5

We visited Brenda's place while in the area attending a graduation event at Fort Leonard Wood. We could not have asked for a better location to access the base. It is an easy 10 minute drive to the west gate of the base. The house provided more then adequate room for our entire group. It provided a great place to bring our graduate back and spend time together.

Brenda was an excellent host. The house was stocked with all the basics and then some. Large open areas in the house and outside. Beds were extremely comfortable with plenty of spare linen. Kitchen was stocked and we were able to use the gas grill to cookout.

Thank you for your hospitality Brenda. If we are ever back to the area I would love to stay again.

Great Place for your Soldier’s Graduation

  • 4 of 5

If you would like to give your soldier a day of “home away from home “ don’t look any further.

This home is exactly that . My son , family and friends enjoyed the features of this house , 3 living room spaces to accommodate people who want to play games , others just relax or watch tv.

You can easily prepare a home meal. The kitchen is fully equipped and you will find a good selection of spices.

Plenty of towels, and clean bedrooms.

We had a great time and Brenda the owner was very helpful from the moment we got there all the way to our departure. I will definitely recommend this property .
