This is the perfect home for a vacation rental or for traveling professionals!

Lovely 2BR/1BA separate cottage in Downtown Flagstaff. It is the "mother-in-law" unit with its own parking, walkway, outdoor seating, and entrance into the cottage. Lovely yard with BBQ is shared with host who lives in the main, front house. The home is fully furnished and equipped including Wifi, all utilities, W/D, linens, soaps, and paper products. Located 1.1 miles from Flagstaff Medical Center and just north of Northern Arizona University. It is close to downtown--about an 8 block walk--but far enough away to be in a quiet residential neighborhood.

Perfect 4-season base for exploring northern Arizona including Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Walnut Canyon, Sedona, and more. Urban trail system is two blocks away, and is great for hiking, running, and biking. Walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants.

This home has everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities. Comfy mattresses and bed linens are all top-quality. Please note there is no dishwasher or garbage disposal. All utilities are included. Wifi and Roku TV included, but no cable or satellite.

Great little place!

This cottage was perfect for what we needed on our trip to see the Grand Canyon! Very clean and easy access. Close to lots of great food and coffee if that’s your thing. We didn’t realize how much flagstaff had to offer and even spent one day exploring the area!

Another great stay!

We’ve stayed at this rental in the past & had another enjoyable trip. The location is great, the house was clean & Connie was wonderful! There were so many different things to do within walking distance (park, restaurants, neighborhood outdoor market). We’ll be back next summer for sure!

I have lived in Flagstaff for 30 years--from 1980 to 2002, then left and returned again in 2013. I am excited to share this place in the BEST part of Flagstaff with you, my guests!
I am passionate about travel, food, and culture and sharing these experiences with others. I'm an avid cook and a frequent traveler within the western U.S. and Europe (especially Italy), but have visited many other places on the globe over the years. I don't travel as a tourist, but like to live in places like a local while I am there. I am excited to share this experience with others when they stay in my lovely downtown Flagstaff property.

Why they chose this property

This cottage was built as a mother-in-law cottage sometime in the 50s or 60s behind the original historic 1922 home. I have lovingly updated the cottage, keeping it cozy and cute, but modernizing it along the way. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well equipped, and the cottage is clean as a whistle.

What makes this property unique

The cottage is behind the original 1922 home, and was one of the few on the street when it was built. The neighborhood is just a few blocks from Downtown Flagstaff, but in a quiet residential neighborhood. The front home and the cottage share a patio and gas BBQ. The yard is open to the neighborhood, which gives guests a great feeling of being a part of this beautiful historic area.
