About the property

3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom With Mountain Views

Bella Casa Buffalo River is the premier cabin to escape with your family. This spacious 2 level cabin is tucked away at Steel creek along the magnificent Buffalo National River in which running rapids, quiet pools, and massive bluffs await you. This beautifully decorated cabin is centrally located between Ponca and Jasper and just 3 miles from BOC where you can plan your next floating adventure, ½ mile to the Steel Creek access at the Buffalo River with horseback trails, 1 ½ miles to Low Gap café with a renowned chef, and 4 miles to Boxley valley which is home to Arkansas' largest Majestic elk herds.

Bella Casa Buffalo River can host a large family with 2 levels of living space. This luxury rustic cabin can sleep up to 9 with 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 baths. Maximum occupancy is 11 with 2 on the sleeper sofa.

The main entrance located upstairs welcomes you to a living area with comfortable leather couches, a large screen TV equipped with DirecTV, and a lovely sun room with seating to view the panoramic views of the gorgeous Buffalo River valley and your own private natural spring flowing into a pond. It is not uncommon for neighboring horses to wander around the property and an occasional Elk visit. The master suite is located on this floor and has a King bed, a twin bed, and a private bathroom with a bath tub/shower. The cozy dining room seats 6 and is adjacent to the kitchen which has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal including a refrigerator with ice maker/filtered water, stove/oven and dishwasher. Relax on the spacious and rustic wrap around deck complete with rocking chairs, dining area, and gas grill. Gather around the fire-pit with your loved ones and stay cozy or soak in the hot-tub and gaze at the stars.

The lower level hosts 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath with a shower, a recreational area with a ping pong table, complete living area with a pull-out sofa and large screen TV equipped with DirecTV. 1 bedroom has a queen size bed and 1 bedroom has a full size bed and twin bunk bed.

Please Note:

1. There is 1 mile of dirt road to the cabin and we would recommend arriving in the daylight hours due to the steep county roads. Please follow the BLUE BELLA CASA BUFFALO CABIN signs. Standard cars will have no problem getting to and from the cabin, driving slowly, in normal conditions but we would recommend trucks and/or SUVS if available.

2. There is no cellular service in that area for about 10 miles east or west of the address and at the cabin. We do have a landline with unlimited long distance and WIFI for iMessage, etc. for your convenience.

3. Our cabin sits on 6 acres surrounded by private property. Please be courteous and stay within the fence around the cabin. There are some wonderful hiking trails in the Buffalo National forest.

4. No Four-Wheelers, ATV's or RTV's are allowed at the property.

Parties & Events: We do not allow parties or other special events at our vacation rental. The minimum fee is $500 for any unauthorized event that we find out about after the fact. We reserve the right to deny occupancy to any group who has an unauthorized party or event at the rental home. There will be no refund of rent or other taxes and fees for unauthorized events.

Read a book, go for a hike, gather around the fire, watch the sun rise and set, wish on the stars, eat s'mores, make memories.

Comfortable and Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

My family had a great time staying here. We had a minor issue and Kelly had it solved by the time we came home from the days activities. Loved the secluded location. My grandchildren enjoyed being visited by the neighboring cows, horses and dogs. The house is nicely appointed and very comfortable. It was hot and humid outside, but the AC worked great and kept us cool. Kelly provides a lot of good information on things to do and local recommendations and will answer specific questions. The Low Gap Cafe is just down the road and it was a great dining experience. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you. We met the chef and he was as interesting as the food was good. If you really want to get away this is a good place to do it.

great but a little misleading

  • 3 of 5

The location is fantastic and the house is in perfect order and very comfortable. We were just pretty disappointed because we were under the impression from the photos that there was a running river on the property or at least accessible to the cabin... but it's not at all.... in fact, there are signs signifying that we were restricted from leaving the premises "for our own safety." We were really hoping to let the kids play around the yard, but we had to keep them busy elsewhere and really didn't spend much time at the house as a result of these restrictions.... otherwise the cabin would've received full stars from me.

Owner's Response: Hi Tara, Thank you so much for choosing to stay at our home and we are so glad that you enjoyed it! We are transparent from the get-go with the location and its proximity to specific spots and surrounding attractions and that our property does sit on 6 acres and is surrounded by private property. I am sorry that you felt like the description was misleading. We post signs about the private property surrounding our property just incase any of our guests do not read that in the description and/or in the emails that I send. We are so glad that you enjoyed our home and hope that you return to one of our properties again. Thank you, Kelly Carmon

Hidden gem

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful, secluded location on Steel Creek. Nicely furnished cabin with plenty of room for a big group. Really enjoyed the fire pit, patio, and wrap around deck. Had a minor issue with the keypad that was quickly resolved. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Views, Peace and Quite.

  • 5 of 5

Loved the cabin. It held our party of 9 very comfortably. Ping pong was a blast. The wrap around porch with the swing and other seating was great for hanging out outside. The sound of the creek was very serene.

Charming Elegant Getaway Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Loved the cabin! It was centrally located for all the activities we had planned, as well as being so easy to basically move in for a comfortable stay. Some of the cabins favorites for me was the setting off a back road with a pond and beautiful fields surrounding it, this made it so relaxing. Then also relaxing was the hot tub. The fully equipped kitchen, was great to use for a few stay in meals as well. We overall enjoyed our stay and hope to plan another trip here.
