Unique and beautiful views of the Castle, Conwy Estuary and mountains beyond from a private spacious, sunny, roof terrace. An ideal all-year holiday base for exploring the mountains and beaches of North Wales.

Lovingly restored and furnished to a high standard with modern fixtures and fittings whilst retaining charm and character. The spacious lounge/diner features a cosy open fire and the light and airy breakfast kitchen has wall to wall windows to make the most of the outlook over the 800 year old castle tower and Medieval town walls. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (double and bunk bedroom) and luxury shower room with walk-in shower, basin and wc.

The spacious roof terrace is a sun trap during the summer months and perfect to enjoy breakfast alfresco or a relaxing drink during the evening enjoying the sunset. Outside, the cottage has a breakfast deck off the kitchen and access to a shared sitting area set within an 800 year old tower - always a hit with our younger visitors!

We are well equipped for families, with travel cot, stairgate, high chair and toys. We have a small library of family DVDs, games, books and local walking guides. There is also a flat screen TV, DVD player, fast fibre wi-fi, CD player, Roberts Radio, Google Chromecast and BOSE soundock system with wireless Bluetooth.

All the town's facilities are within a two minute walk of the cottage including interesting shops, tearooms, restaurants, the old harbour and historic buildings.

Well, what can we say. . . . From start to finish the experience was fantastic. Easy to understand booking system, great price. This quaint little property couldn’t be in a better location for anyone looking to stay in what feels like a real part of English and Welsh history. The property itself was very well equipped, very warm and welcoming. We stayed in February and although it was sunny outside it was rather fresh let’s say so to walk into an already warmed home we instantly felt relaxed and comfortable. There was so much todo in Conwy we ould have stayed a few more days to enjoy a few more pubs and restaurants or even just relax on the peaceful home that Jackie our host provided. We all look forward to another visit to this cottage for maybe a longer stay in the near future. I could go on and on but it’s all positive, I recommend anyone a stay in this wonderful cottage and a trip to Conwy is a must. Keep up the good work guys and don’t change a thing, it was perfect for us adults and children too. Kind regards The Evans Family

Fall Stay
Great little space with awesome views of the castle and walls. We visited at the end of October so unfortunately a lot of restaurants were closed early or weren't serving food past 6pm so definitely check before you go. Cool little town and neat that you can walk the walls.

Lovely base for a couple of days
We had a lovely stay in Conwy. The house was fully equipped which made it an excellent base for visiting North Wales. We stayed with the 2 of us, and can imagine that when you come with more or will soon feel a bit small. Facilities, including the luxury of a full range of pre-paid tv services made it great to also relax indoors during rainy days. Kitchen was sufficiently equiped for cooking basic meals. As we stayed for more than a mid-week, eventually we missed the availability of a washing machine, while laundry services were not available in Conwy. For the rest, Conwy had it all including good food shops, restaurants etc.

Croeso and welcome to Castleview Cottage!
Please do visit our website for lots more information on our home and local area.

We love to welcome guests to our homes and share the beautiful surroundings and nature. My working life has been dedicated to cleaning our world's oceans of marine debris and plastics - as a family we try our best to live in a sustainable way and tread carefully on our planet.

We love nature, mountain biking, sailing, walking, exploring the world in our early 70's VW bus.

Why they chose this property

We spent a long time looking for the perfect fisherman's cottage in Conwy within the town walls but without passing traffic . It also had to have the 'wow' factor. As soon as we got a glimpse of the view from the kitchen we were sold! The view from the roof terrace is even better! We maximised that unique view with the installation of full length windows in the kitchen (knocking through 2 foot solid stone walls). The house was completely renovated whilst trying to keep the character of the 200 year old cottage. We believe Conwy is the perfect base to enjoy everything on offer in North Wales - unbeatable coastal and mountain walks, plenty of attractions within a short walk or drive, beautiful beaches and Snowdonia National Park on our doorstep.
