Casa Symbiotica is the most Luxurious and secure home in the Flamingo area. We host many high profile and celebrity clients. and it is considered one of the finest homes in the entire Guanacaste region. We are close to Tamarindo, the famous surfing town with many fine restaurants and attractions. It is a 10 minute drive to 5 beautiful beaches. Our 5 star reviews and in-home services are the best available. In addition, the Guanacaste Region is the most visited and spectacular regions of Costa Rica. It's temperate climate is warm year round. It's rural feel provides the peace and quiet for relaxing, private and rejuvenating getaways yet there is an abundance of things to do if you so desire. The most beautiful beaches are at the base of the mountain and community where the home resides.

Great golf courses and fishing are just a couple miles from our home. You can hike and bike right on the property in Mar Vista and there are also organized trails just a short distance away. Numerous beaches line the coast surrounding our property.

Watching the many different views of the sunset is a local attraction.. There are no better views of the sunsets than from our home.

We completed the building of our home in December of 2014 with a new addition completed in December of 2019. This stunning 11,000 square foot luxury home features a heated infinity pool, hot tub and low-depth lounge area, large covered veranda, workout room, game room, media room and 180 degree views of the ocean! There are 5 bedroom suites, including 4 king size beds, a bunk room that sleeps 8 and 7 bathrooms. We can multiple families, comfortably sleeping 19 guests.

Other luxuries include maid services 5 days per week (Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri & Sat), gated community with 24/7 security, 2 laundry rooms, outdoor kitchen, built-in lighted basketball net, air conditioning throughout home, 2 1/2 car garage with remote, complimentary WiFi, intergraded Sonos sound system, satellite television, 2 digital safes, 2 lighted clay tennis courts and a generator for the home, The Gracia Club Restaurant & Bar located in the development and is one of the best restaurants in the area. There are plenty of nearby beaches, restaurants and shopping.

Absolutely Amazing

The place was incredible! Mitch and his team were spectacular! We had a small scheduling conflict and they were so attentive and helpful it blew us away. They helped with excursions, personal chef and more. The views and cleanliness of the property was awesome as well. Thanks Mitch and crew!

Incredible sunsets

We are a family of 7 with 5 adult children. The house was very comfortable for us. The house would be equally comfortable for multiple families with many younger kids/teenagers because of the bunk room. We spent most of our time sitting outdoors, in and around the pool. The views and especially the sunsets were just magnificent. Throughout the week, we also enjoyed the workout room, the family game room with pinball and darts, the home theater and the basketball hoop out front. The restaurant in the community, Garcia Mar Vista, was delicious. On the last night we had Miguel cook for us at the house (set up through the concierge). Dinner was delicious. Had we discovered him sooner, we would have had him come more than one night. His price was very reasonable. Tere, our concierge was very helpful leading up to and during the week of out stay. Arianna and the housekeeping staff were delightful and kept the house clean and took care of laundry throughout the week. This was an added bonus for being on vacation. Overall we really enjoyed our time together at Casa Symbiotica.

Great Friend Trip!

We had a great stay in an absolutely beautiful home! It’s breathtaking to walk in the front door for the first time. We thought it was a great floor plan to have one side of the house as the common living areas and the other side with the bedrooms. We had 17 ppl in our group with a broad range of kids, and every age group had a blast. This house is very kid friendly. The concierge service was very easy to communicate with and really did all the hard work for me. Lastly, the maid for the house was so sweet and always had a smile. She was truly a blessing to have around.

Paradise in Costa Rica

Casa Symbiotica was the nicest house we’ve ever stayed in. The view was magnificent. The house is essentially separated into two areas: the bedrooms on one side and the entertainment area on the other (kitchen, living room, outside bar and grill, weight room). The house was perfect for a large family get together. It also has a movie theater room and game room with darts, ping pong table, and pinball machine. Needless to say it was hard to leave this place!

In 2001, we traveled to the Guanacaste Coast of Costa Rica for our honeymoon. Three years later we returned and purchased property. For the last 15 years we've traveled to Costa Rica for family vacations. We were finally ready to start building our home in December of 2013 and after an exciting, rewarding journey, we enjoyed our first vacation in our new home in December of 2014. We designed the home and it was built by Aaron Berkowitz, an exceptional builder. and our good friend.

We love music, adventure and spending time with family and friends. The name of our home, Casa Symbiótica, represents the symbiotic relationship to music, family, friends and our homes beautiful natural environment.

We put our hearts and souls into the design and build of our home (my wife Amy was the designer) and until we can move to Costa Rica permanently, we are excited and proud to share it with you. She designs many high-profile homes in the area.

Why they chose this property

We designed this home around the spectacular ocean views! The vestibule, after you enter the main front door is a covered outdoor area with views of the Pacific ocean and our large infinity pool. We also created a "sunken" living area with 12 foot pocket doors that looks out onto the infinity pool and the amazing sunsets beyond. You enter the outdoor veranda through the grand open living space and 11 foot sliding doors. We can't stress the value of having the sunken living room and outdoor veranda. If you happen to experience inclement weather, these areas allow you to continue to sit and view the spectacular scenery while relaxing or eating your favorite meal.The master and guest bedrooms each include a private balcony with ocean views. The workout room and media room have state of the art equipment and also have complete views of the ocean. Want a good workout? Its inspirational!

My wife and I traveled to Costa Rica on our honeymoon and immediately fell in love. That was back in 2001. We purchased the land and it wasn't until 15 years later and many trips back to CR that we designed and built our home. The builder, who started the community, wanted us to build a showpiece that he could use to bring in more clientele. The result, one of the most breathtaking homes and views in the entire Guanacaste Province. You won't be disappointed. Just read our reviews.
