Foyer drenched in natural light falling through large arched window and bouncing down from high ceilings. Study and powder room off foyer. Formal living and dining room perfect for large gatherings. Modern kitchen with dual ovens, gas and electric, large island with granite counters and natural stone flooring, bringing warmth and charm to the kitchen, and lots of workspace.

Second floor offers two master suites with in-suite bathrooms, plus two additional bedrooms sharing jack and jill bathroom. Laundry room on second floor keeps laundry duty efficient and to a minimum. Large master suite includes large stone fireplace open to both sides of the bedroom, creating a workout or study area. Large master bathroom with jacuzzi, double sinks, shower, and enclosed toilet space.

Wonderful visit to Lewes

Our family has rented many vacation homes. We have a variety of ages from 88 year old great grandfather to 4 month old. So 4 generations of family with different needs. We find that 3 factors are paramount to a good trip. One is space. This house is well laid out and has plenty of space. One never can control the weather so that is always important. Second is cleanliness and this home was super clean. And third is the relationship and attentiveness that the owner gives you and Bill was amazing. He got back to me quickly and helped out with so many questions of where to go and how to work things in the house. The welcome letter was complete and the emails before and after our visit were thorough. Our family originally were looking for a beach house ( right on the beach) but took a chance on renting within the Five Points development. It was clearly the best move. The restaurants, pool(2) tennis and grocery shopping were a short walk. Our 3 year old granddaughter rode her bicycle all around on the sidewalks. And the center of Lewes town was only an 8 min drive. The beach was perfect for little ones and was an easy drive from the house (10 min). Rehobeth was farther and traffic there was really difficult. But we preferred Lewes anyway so it worked out perfectly for us. All in all, it was a great vacation. I highly recommend this property for a rental.

Great Location

This is an exceptionally well kept home with close proximity to both downtown Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. Working with Bill was seamless. He was always accessible and the entire experience was as advertised. I would certainly consider staying here again. The spacious yard was perfect for a game of catch with the kids.

spacious well kept home --perfect for family get togethers-- house was clean & decorated nicely --kitchen had all appliances & gadgets needed--10 minutes to beach ---short drive to either Lewes beach or Cape Henlopen State park also used community pool which was very nice for the grandkids --grocery & other stores close by--neighborhood was quiet with very little traffic--owner was very easy to talk with

Great area but house needs work

This house was in an excellent location and has an excellent backyard space, but not as described. We specifically rented it because it had 5 bedrooms - 4 bedrooms with a den that could be converted to a bedroom because it had a sleeper sofa. However when we arrived, there was no sleeper sofa in the house. There was a twin air mattress we could use but it had a hole in it. This left two family members without beds for an entire week. The house also needs a deep clean, especially the couches. The homeowner did not allow access to the garage so no place to keep bikes/beach chairs, etc. The pool in the common area was very nice as was the community.

Owner's Response: I'm sorry we couldn't give you an early check in of 10:00 AM which is the check out time for the existing guest. Furthermore, once I explained why we couldn't give you an early check in time, you insisted on having access before the 4:00pm check in before cleaners arriving. Once you gained access you begin making specious claims for a discount. My cleaners are the best. We have never had a complaint in the 5 years we've been renting the property!

excellent vacation

This vacation home was even better than described, very spacious and "homey." Loved the back deck where we spent a lot of time. Our grandaughters loved riding their bikes up and down the street. The pool was a block away and an easy walk. Weis market was close by for groceries. The kitchen had everything one needed to prepare meals. Bill, the owner got back to us in a prompt manner, when needed. Would definitely recommend this home as a wonderful place to stay for a large family vacation.

awesome house!

We were in town for my nephew's wedding. The house was perfect for the rehearsal dinner and the bridal party to get ready the day of the wedding. The back yard was private with a big deck. Kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked. We had a wonderful weekend. Bill the owner was so nice to work with. We will be back.

Using the passcode, unlock the box to retrieve the key and unlock the front
Place any food you brought in the refrigerator. Remember both doors must be
closed for the ice maker to work. Use touchscreen to adjust access outside the door to water, crushed ice or ice. If you inadvertently lock the touchpad, just press and hold for shift to unlock. Avoid adjusting temperature in refrigerator, as this could cause your fruits/vegetables to freeze
Place cushions and rug out on deck
WIFI codes are located on the sofa table in the great room
House rules:
1. Upon returning from the beach, please rinse sand off outside
2. If you brought a dog, please pick up any dog dumping from the yard and
3. You may plug in the pond filter to enjoy the sound of the waterfall from the
deck; do not leave pump running for extended periods
4. Feed fish up to 3 times per day
5. Use the garbage disposal for food and the can for trash. The Trash Containers Do Not Need To Be Taken To The Curb. The valet service will pick them up and replace them where they are.
6. Basement and Garage are locked and off limits
7. Please water the Dr. Seuss tree in the great room once a week
1. Leave pool access fob on table for the next guests 2. Leave the house as you found it
3. Check to make sure the pond pump is unplugged 4. Leave thermostat set on 75.
5. Bring cushions and rug inside from deck. 6. Lock the front door and insert key back into box
