Perfect location with beautiful surroundings, close to many Seattle areas

This private, stand-alone apartment is located on our property, but completely separate from our house. It's located above our detached garage and separated by our garden. It has it's own entrance in the back and parking space located in front. This decent size apartment will comfortably sleep up to 4 people; 2 in the bedroom and 2 on the queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. And if you have little babes, we can offer a pack and play, a toddler cot and a high chair. There is a full-size bathroom and kitchen suitable for your needs while visiting. Soothing colors and warm lighting make this a perfect place to rest between your busy Seattle adventures.

Take time to enjoy the surrounding amenities while you are in town. Walk two blocks to Greenlake park to enjoy some of the many great things the park has to offer whether you want to be active or relaxed. Go for a run, bike or rollerblade around the 2.8 mile lake. Or, go out on the lake for a swim, paddle boarding or boating adventure. Those looking to relax, take a stroll around to the many unique coffee shops, restaurants and stores. There are also many kid-friendly activities around the area like a wading pool (2 blocks from apartment), playground, play fields and a well-liked zoo up the hill.

The apartment is conveniently located to major roads like I-5 and Hwy 99. It is also just a few blocks away from the E line, which leads to downtown and the 48 for a quick ride over to the University of Washington and the many surrounding neighborhoods.

About Moira Bugler

We have lived in Seattle for over 17 years, ten of which have been in the Greenlake neighborhood. I made my way up here from Portland, Oregon and my husband is from New York. We met in Seattle through a mutual friend and have never felt like leaving this gorgeous city. I am a hip hop dance instructor and kid wrangler by day and my husband spends his days as an architect. We love to entertain, eat good food, drink red wine, be active around the lake or in the mountains and to share our home.

What makes this apartment unique

There are few vacation rentals around Seattle that are independent of an apartment building or basement/2nd floor of another home. This newly-updated apartment allows you to come and go as you please without feeling like you are in someones space. Of course, though, you are always welcome to grab a seat if we are down by the BBQ.

Charming, cozy apartment by Green Lake

This charming apartment was just right for my one-month stay in Seattle. The hosts were right next door but I never needed them except once, to fix a small leak in the kitchen sink. Lots of windows on all sides allow lots of sunlight in and the views were lovely - a large garden, two yards, and the Parks & Rec. Dept. across the street. This is a perfect location for walking. Besides Green Lake being just 2 blocks away, there is Woodland Park, the zoo, shopping, restaurants, other parks, gardens and beautiful neighborhoods in any direction you care to go! It rained on many of the days I was there but, when in Seattle, do as the locals do - go out in the rain anyway! Also, I just enjoyed staying in the cozy, well-stocked and well-furnished apartment. (It was especially nice to have a washer and dryer!)

Perfect for our small family

The location was perfect for our stay with two young children. Parks were all very close and amenedies were all within walking distance. The apartment had everything that we needed and the manager was very responsive and polite.

Quite, private, central location

This place was perfect for me. I was in town to visit friends and play a gig and had lots of events and appointments lined up, so I needed a not-so-spendy central place that I could use as a home base. The upstairs apartment on the alley was quiet, yet far enough away from neighbors that I could play my guitar through my amp (low volume) at midnight without bothering anybody. I have a truck with an in=bed camper. It's hard to find parking in Seattle for a rig like this. The off-street parking was perfect for me. The bedroom is located so that I could sleep late in the morning without street noise. I enjoyed a lot of rare January Seattle sun from the 3 large windows in the LR. Being upstairs made it more private so I could leave the curtains open. The in-unit stacked washer/dryer were very helpful, but being a big guy I had a little trouble accessing them in the tight space. It would be much better if the doors opened toward the wall instead of towards the user. Overall a great place. I would definitely stay there again when in Seattle.

Great spot!

The apartment is super clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. The building is older, but the furnishings are quite nice and the owners are helpful and quick to respond to any questions. I'd recommend, and plan to stay again. Vicki
