Hot Tub With Large Deck And Fire Pit In Yard; Custom Remodel Threw Out
I have been working in customer service at Gene Juarez for 27 years and this was a easy extension of what I love to do. My husband and I were married up here and love the setting. I feel so lucky to share this cabin with my guests. Lots of love went into every touch of this cabin.
Colleen purchased this Cabin in 2004
Why Colleen chose Baring
We had always wondered who the owners were of the this cabin ... they happened to be moving things out to sale it when we went by. The nice older couple told us of how they built this place and don't have time to enjoy any more. We left with a hand shake and ended up buying the place a week later.
What makes this Cabin unique
Maggies Love shack has a wonderful deck. It is on 3 sides of the property with stairs leading to the custom built fire pit that you can even cook on. We have a small covered area to cook out under and large 5 person hot tub. I have lights all around the deck to complete the romantic setting.

Beautiful, comfortable lodging
We've been guests here many times and are always happy with the accommodations, beautiful surroundings and helpful management. We've never had any issues and we are always pleasantly surprised by generosity of the management. Love the new hot tub! Look forward to staying here next year.
Beautiful and quaint cabin
We loved staying at Maggie’s Love Shack, it made for a perfect spring break getaway. The champagne was a pleasant and appreciated surprise and the property was spectacular!
Wonderful guests like you are a joy to share the property with. Thank you and Cheers!
Four adults in a cabin, and the only bathroom (shower/toilet/sink) was not available because the sewer drain pipe was clogged.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t the weekend we planned as we had to drive somewhere else to use the bathroom .
I understand cabins may have a few problems due to their age and potential remote location, but for the high price charged per night, I think it would be reasonable to expect an operational bathroom and a clean bedroom.
The location is great and the property administration responded quickly, however, the cabin does have a urine-like smell coming from the bathroom that lingers around the living area until you get the fireplace going.
The kitchen is equipped for entertaining and the cabin is about 20 minutes away from Stevens pass. Overall, it was a rather disappointing experience.
Cozy get away minutes from Seattle!
Soak in the hot tub and listen to the river rolling over the rocks and the train rumbling by. When the jets have melted your stress away throw a log on the wood burning fireplace and make a cup of tea or even a full dinner in the decked out kitchen before retiring to the super comfy bed. This was exactly what I pictured when I pictured a weekend get away in the mountains with the hubby. It was seriously so romantic and relaxing! Can't wait to go back!
Not so Quiet and Peaceful Cozy Cabin
First off I need to say the cabin was very quaint and had great supplies. The Kitchen was well supplied as were towels and bedding. Everything worked and was pretty clean. I was hoping to spend most our time around a fire outside or in the Hot tub with my wife but the traffic on the 2 was constant (Oktoberfest in Leavenworth). The cabin is only 100-150 yards off the highway. Then in the middle of the night you were treated to trains rumbling alongside the 2. So we stayed inside and had good conversations. It was just not the restful time we really needed. Next time I will find a place a little more isolated.
Thank you for taking the time to give our property a review. I am glad you enjoyed the cabin. We do get more traffic than usual in October on the weekends due to everyone going to Leavenworth for Oktoberfest!
Just what we needed!!
My boyfriend and I needed a weekend away, alone, after a super busy summer. We wanted to just relax together with no inturuprions and that’s exactly what we got! Maggie’s love shack was a small cabin with everything we needed for the weekend! Super warm and cozy and the hot tub was amazing! Not to mention, it’s only an hour away from Leavenworth without the Leavenworth cabin prices! The welcome gift was adorable too! The only thing I’d warn people of is the deck is pretty slippery when it rains. Other than that, it’s the perfect place to get away! I’ve seen reviews complaining about the train noise but it honestly helped us sleep and they aren’t as loud as people were saying. We will be back! :)
Great guests like you are always welcome. Thank you for your wonderful review and please let me know how I can help in the future! By the way...we just put in new hot tub with twice as many jets.
We are walking distance to the only wooden single lane bridge over the Skykomish river. There is a small path on both side of the bridge to access the river.
