Anne is very nice. The sight is beautiful
60's Island Bungalow
My boyfriend and I rented the cottage as it looked cozy and the idea of staying on an island was different to us. If you don't have a boat you can rent a water taxi which is very easy. The cottage had a 60's bungalow vibe from the furnishings to the carpet. Unfortunately, the bed's felt like they also hadn't been upgraded since the 60's as each was on the hard side and we had to put extra blankets on for cushioning. The view from the front porch is quite lovely and if you'd like you can jump off the dock for a swim. The neighbours are quite close so be aware you will hear and see much of them as this cottage is on the pathway to other cottages that the neighbours visit. Ann the owner is right next door and very helpful if anything is needed.
Great family getaway!
My husband and I took the kids for a long weekend to experience the Island life with no WIFI and it was all that we hoped for! We rented a boat from Spencer’s and did some exploring, fishing and swimming. Anne was wonderful and the cottage was exactly as advertised.
Quick get away great location
Although we were only able to stay for a few days, our stay was very enjoyable and pleasant. Ann has thought of everything you will need to stay at this charming cottage! Everything was very clean and well stocked and only a quick boat ride to the main land. I would highly recommend this spot if you’d like to see a lot of the thousand islands in a small period of time.
Thank you for your kind words
Fantastic family vacation
Stayed with Anne for half a week on her Hay island cottage with 3 kids. Highly recommend for memorable sunsets alone!!
