About this property

A comfortable large suite in our home . It features a living room , common room, bedroom , full bath with tub and shower. The bedroom has a queen bed and full murphy bed. The living room has a comfy couch which can be used for sleeping as well. Ask for specifics on sleeping arrangements . The property is on a very private and quiet setting with a pond , gazebo, and large yard . We are next to Smugglers Notch ski resort . The resort is a year round with a world class disc golf course and many kilometers of hiking trails , cross country skiing, Alpine skiing,snowshoeing , and hiking as well as mountain biking . The nearby Lamoille river also features kayaking ,canoeing and fishing .
We are also 45 minutes from Burlington and 10 minutes away from Stowe through scenic Smugglers Notch .

Watching solar eclipse from Vermont

We stayed 2 nights so that we could then drive to/from Burlington to watch the 4/8 solar eclipse there in "totality". The hosts invited us to stay and watch with them on their back deck. Extremely friendly hosts. Magnificient view of solar eclipse against the Vermont mountains. And it sounds like Burlington was extremely crowded, so we got to avoid all of that. Just 6 people, the mountains, nature at its finest, and the eclipse. It did snow just a few days before, so we also got to experience Vermont's "mud season". :-)

Great stay

Thomas' home was comfortable, and he and his wife were very friendly hosts. Just note that you have to be okay with going through their house to get to your space. Amazing location, especially if you're there to ski, play disc golf, or hike. Would stay there again.

Great stay ; but morning noises

It was a great stay; convenient location and easy checkin process! However both nights when we were there, there were lots of noises very early in morning made it a little bit hard to get a full rest before we head out.

Great stay for fall vacation

My husband and I had a great stay here during our visit to Vermont. We primarily traveled to Stowe during our stay which was about 25-30 minutes drive one-way through the notch. The room itself was very accommodating. It is a finished basement/lower level private area with a king bed, full bathroom, living room and small kitchen area. Additional beds were availble for larger parties. There is no private entrace but we rarely saw the owners or anyone else in the home while entering and exiting the home so it made the stay feel very private. The property was beautiful with some great views if you were to walk around back. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would certainly be interested in staying again in the future.
