Great house in close in suburban location with nice privacy This is being offered as a 2BR, 2 bath, 1,900 square foot private home. It is within 5 minutes of Interstate 494/Hwy 62 crosstown. One level ranch style home includes a nice, full kitchen with an eat-in area open to the dining room and living room with great wood burning fireplace. Attached to living room is a bright, window-filled sunroom/tv room with amazing sunset views and private backyard. Overlooking the backyard is a great place to watch deer and wild turkeys . This house is in Eden Prairie about 20 minutes from the MSP airport in an area with large lots and big trees.It has three bedrooms but one of which is currently a office storage space blocked for owners.. The gorgous sunroom which has French doors can act as a extra bedroom and there are two full baths (one tub). It's all on one level with just two steps into the house for easy access tucked away into a private neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. Owner keeps a lower level apt with a separate back door entrance and sometimes uses it when he is not at his North shore Properties. It is not rented to others

Loved the house, it wasn't clean and needed to be less cluttered with owners stuff

Good stuff: We loved the location (quiet and easy to get to) and the building, the sun room was our favorite! The owner was easy to talk to, friendly and easy going.

Bad stuff: One of the beds had dirty sheets (crumbs in the bed). The owners stuff (stacks of paperwork, do dads) were everywhere, and the bedroom had a lot of his stuff under the bed and in the closets. It felt like he had just stepped out. The master bath was not clean, shower floor had mold along the grout line, spider webs in the lights. No towels in the bathroom, we found some in his closet and they were of low quality.

Beautiful, quiet stay!

Wonderful location on wooded lot, close to parks but not too far from civilization and downtown. We saw lots of wildlife in the backyard from the beautiful sunroom including a family of whitetail deer. Thank you!

Private, Spacious & Comfortable...

Located in a very quiet residential neighborhood this home is very comfortable and has great living space. My 2 friends and I used it as a watercolor retreat, so the sunroom became our favorite room. It was flooded with natural light on 3 sides, a huge table, comfy sofas, & large TV. We were fortunate to watch at least 9 deer in the wooded areas behind the home, that were ating and lounging about! That alone made the house unique.. The deck off the sun room has plenty of chairs & gas grill. In warmer weather, it would be a great place for coffee in the morning or grilling st night. In the living room was an inviting wood burning fireplace and large dining table. The kitchen is large & has basically everything needed .... more so than most rentals.

John, the owner, was extremely cordial and made the arrangements easy. We went in March, but when the trees in the back are "leafed" out, the back must be even more private and special. We enjoyed our stay there & would definitely recommend it!!

Excellent, quiet suburban home

This property is one of the nicest we have rented. I stayed here with my daughter (15), wife, and parents (80+). There are three bedrooms, and one has a shower stall that is suitable for older people. There are no stairs in the living space, and it is easily accessible from outside. It is a large space and has a fully stocked kitchen with an island, and dining table in the kitchen. There is a large dining room/living room space, and yet another room with two couches, chair, TV, and another large table--this room has windows on three sides that look out over a small forested area in the middle of the subdivision. Suburban wildlife such as white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and squirrels were present in early December. The WiFi works fine, although you need to look on the back of the typed instruction sheet to find the actual password (no space, BTW). First priority for the 15 year old, right? This is a very quiet location, and I live in Montana so I know quiet.

This is probably the least formal VRBO we have rented. There were personal photos and memorabilia throughout the house, and the fully stocked garage (i.e. looks like my garage) was open to allow access to the trash and recycling. Basically, it feels like you are house-sitting at a friend's house who knows you and trusts you. John, the owner, called me the first full day we were there to let me know he was working in the downstairs apartment, in case we saw someone coming and going. He is a friendly person and asked if we needed anything.

We recommend this property, and we would stay here again if we are in the Minneapolis area.

Located in the nice, lively MSP suburb of Eden Prairie (EP). This city was ranked among Top 25 'Best Places to Live' in nation and among the 5 other Minnesota cities was number 1. Within the city is excellent shopping, tons of restaurants, beaches, parks, golf courses, well maintained bike/walk trails, movie theater, and metro station with easy access to St. Paul/Minneapolis and other cities in the metro.

Within a 20-minute drive are theme parks, casinos, ski hills, more golf, additional shopping (Mall of America! Among many other options), water parks, pools, additional beaches, and the uptown/downtown Minneapolis scene... The list goes on!

Located close to two major highways in Eden Prairie on the boarder of Minnetonka, Edina, and Chanhassen.
