nice lake, OK cabin, very busy road

  • 3 of 5

Moose pond is very nice and quiet. Cottage was adequate but on very busy road. Route 302 is very busy and constant traffic noise.

Nice cottage on a great lake

  • 5 of 5

Four of us rented this cottage for about eight days and we all enjoyed it very much. All of the windows in the front room open it up wonderfully and provide lots of fresh air. It is convenient to local attractions and the town of Bridgton and has an excellent view of the lake on both sides of the causeway.

Owner Chantal was very responsive to communications leading up to our visit as well as any concerns we raised during our stay.

The owners provide a number of "toys" including several for on the water (e.g. a 1-person kayak, a 2-person kayak, and a stand up paddleboard) as well as books, videos and VHS and Blu-Ray players, and some toys for children (puzzles, blocks, etc.). Being right on the lake makes it very easy to launch a kayak or to just sit and enjoy the view.

There are plenty of sleeping options for the number of people they accept including two bedrooms and several sleeper sofas. The owners provide all the necessary linens (sheets and towels) and cooking apparatus (electric griddle, coffee pot, pots & pans, etc.) needed for your stay.

So thumbs up for this cottage on Moose Pond. Just don't go when I want to use it!

Definetely a place to repeat. Location is great with activities for all tastes close by. Great hikes, water activities and fun. Waterfront back yard was spectacular both in the morning and afternoons (too busy hiking during the day).

Beautiful cabin with fun lake activities

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is perfect, with all the amenities a family needs to cook or BBQ. Lots of dishes, pots, and pans made it easy to cook what we wanted, plus the gas grill made grilling fast and easy. The best part of the cabin is the location...Moose Pond is perfect for kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, which even Mom mastered while I was there. Cabin comes complete with several water craft so everyone can enjoy the water at the same time. We spent every morning and sunset we could on the lake, with the view of the ski area in the background. We were there during a freak storm which left us without power for a couple of days. The cabin had games we played at night which turned out to be one of our favorite parts of our stay. Lovely cabin, amazing location, great owner to work with. Thank you for letting us stay in your cozy Maine cabin!

Beautiful lakefront property

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful place, the kids loved riding the paddle boat out on the lake. Just so lovely. The town of Bridgton is great, we stopped at the bookstore and got some poutine at Ricky's Diner. We took a drive to North Conway, tons of fun things to do there as well. Thank you so much!!
