The Juniper Ridge House is a Solar Powered Home, network tied with PG&E! It is located in downtown, Historic Mariposa -- 45 minutes (29 miles) from Yosemite National Park at the Arch Rock Entrance via the all season Highway 140 with no delays!

Newly installed at The Juniper Ridge House is a 48amp, Level 2 EV Charger! Free charging with your reservation. Tesla drivers bring your J1772 adapter.

The Juniper Ridge House is comfortable and convenient for all guests with reliable cell service and high speed WiFi--no dark, gravel, dirt foothill roads to get lost on. Spend the day hiking in Yosemite Valley, and return to sip a glass of wine at our local Wine Bar, take a horse drawn carriage tour through town, enjoy our large hot tub, or simply relax and watch the sunset from our redwood deck. The grocery stores (Pioneer Market or High Country Health Foods and Cafe) are minutes away to supply all of your cooking needs and the Pharmacy (Rite Aide) is there, too. Our great room accommodates families with extensive dining space and a bonus room where the kids can gather for ping pong or movies, while the adults relax by the fireplace and gaze at the spectacular views.

Many of our guests really enjoy our 8 person spa! Our Sundance hot tub is just outside our Northwest facing patio door with easy access in and out and very private for your comfort.

The Juniper Ridge house has a Large Master Suite with double vanity, clawfoot tub, shower, king bed, walk-in closet, and additional closet. Guest Bath has double vanity and a shower. The Great Room is an open 700 square feet with a large dining table for 8, 2 full sofas, comfy accent chairs, flat screen TV, and additional breakfast table that seats 4 more. Bonus room has 2 sofas, ping-pong table, 55 inch flat screen TV, and 2 sliding glass doors exiting to the backyard. Spacious kitchen, lots of counter space, with modern amenities. Large Den with comfortable, queen sofa sleeper, twin bed and double bed, lounge chair, desk, and bookshelf. Bedroom with queen bed. Bedroom with bunkbed and a twin bed. Third bathroom has a shower and bathtub.

The Great Room has french doors which open to our redwood deck that is adjacent to an outdoor dining area. Separate, modern laundry room connected by a versailles tiled hallway to bypass walking through the kitchen. The drive way is a half-circle with ample parking.

For the security of The Juniper Ridge House and protection of our guests there are 3 exterior Arlo video cameras which are active at all times to view the entries to the house. The cameras are located in the driveway to view the front door, the patio to view the back door, and the deck to view our deck doors. While visiting The Juniper Ridge House your privacy is very important to us and none of the cameras view into the house.

Mariposa marvelous

Great Stay for our Family Yosemite Trip!

We stayed here with family for our trip to Yosemite which is not very far to the park. Enjoyed this spacious house. Property well equipped. Enjoyed the game room and hot tub. Enjoyed the deck, wild life like deer and turkey and chirping birds on the property. Adults and kids had a really good time! Thank You :)

Spacious well kept home near Yosemite

Wonderful house for families. Check in was easy. Close to Yosemite and mariposa. The deck and outdoor space was so nice to come home to after a long day exploring the park. Thank you!

Beautiful home close to Yosemite

The home was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved sitting on the deck watching the birds and looking at the mountains. Close enough distance to Yosemite at all three entrances. Homeowner was very quick to respond to questions and information about the home was laid out nicely in the notebook.

Hello! We are the Marcis Family -- Kim, Matthew and 3 kids under the age of 11 (Lyell, Whitney, and Dana). We live and work in El Portal (just East of Mariposa). Kim is from Palo Alto and Matthew was raised in Wheaton, IL. We met skiing in the Yosemite wilderness in 2005 and we love spending time outdoors with our family. I enjoy taking Kim down the Merced River on the white water during good Spring run-offs. We are thrilled that you will make Mariposa and Yosemite your next vacation and we are happy to give you some insider tips about exploring the area.

Why they chose this property

We bought this house in 2014 and immediately saw the potential for our family and sharing it with other families of all types. It is on a flat 2 acres just one mile from downtown Mariposa. It is a one-story, modern mid-century house with 3000 square feet! We love Historic Mariposa due to the in-town amenities, friendly people, and pleasant weather. It is ADA friendly with a 4 foot wide walnut front door and a wheel chair ramp in the back.

What makes this property unique

There is a twenty-five foot wide wall of windows in the Great Room that faces north west that has the most stunning views and sunsets and it's a private view with only 2 houses well out of range! We have a 6+ person hot tub! The house is designed to maximize group space as well as large, private rooms. We hope you will enjoy the house, the proximity to town, and the gorgeous drive to Yosemite National Park!
