Great location but needs some up keeping

Pros: - Great location, one block from the beach and two blocks from la Quinta - on the less busy section of la Quinta - great community pool - big size for large family Cons: - it does require some maintenance, sliding doors were hard to open - linens need update, not all the beds had comforters - mattress were over used - dark lighting - not complete dish set nor enough silverware - beach chairs were all broken and over used

Great place, close…but not too close.

This is just off what I would consider the north end of 5th Avenue. It’s about two blocks east of 5th. Great location on a quieter side of Playa. It is not in the thick of it, but everything-beaches, great food, 5th Avenue, and highway 307 are right there. Would recommend. I didn’t really have a ton of communication with the manager, but their emails were timely and helpful. (I didn’t need the manager during my stay.)

Even during COVID we had a great time.

There is always positives and negatives everywhere. The positives are many Mr Joseph the “Gate Master” is super friendly and a super nice guy. He will be a wealth if information for anyone. The Grounds Keeper is Fransico, he speaks little English but works so hard to make Luna Maya a beautiful place, be sure to smile and wave. When things needed attention Saul had someone there soon to fix. We were 1 block from the beach and 2 blocks from 5th Ave. and soon learned the grid system for streets. We stayed 31 days and had a wonderful time and would go back today. The few things I’d change (very few) Is the furniture. Living room wicker is in rough shape and not the most comfortable but it worked and who wants to be inside anyway. For the location and price we snagged a great deal and would stay at this property again. SIEMPRE PLAYA!! , David Collins, Illinois.
