LOCATION,LOCATION, LOCATION: Punta Gorda is one of Florida's hidden secretes. It's a boaters and fisherman's paradise with great cruising/sailing and fishing right from your back door. The atmosphere is casual and low key and the people here are friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful historic downtown with shops and restaurants. The town is off the beaten highway path, yet close and easy access to everything you need. Beautiful beaches, unlimited shopping, children's attractions, movies/theater and cultural activities are all readily available within short drive.

Come enjoy the tranquility of Punta Gorda, In this newly remodeled 3 bedroom 3 bathroom home with views of the intersecting canal from just about every room. Relax in the 2400 sq. ft home plus Lanai with larger pool and soaking tub not to mention the best view of the canal and sunsets. Home is nicely furnished with everything you will need to enjoy a relaxing vacations

Bring your boat or rent one up town (no boat hoist, just a dock), just a 10 min boat ride to Charlotte Harbor and out to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. (1 bridge to go under 12' height )

The quiet neighborhood is great for walking, running and biking and is only minutes to Fisherman's Village & the downtown area. We welcome families and couples for week long vacations as well as retirees coming to enjoy a long term rental in the sun. We have a master bedroom overlooking the pool, a queen guest room and a third guest room with king size bed suitable for children or another couple.

Enjoy this little slice of tranquil paradise to return to after visiting Florida's most famous theme park attractions (two hours to Busch Gardens, Tampa and Walt Disney, Orlando). Relax on the lanai after a day trip to Naples, Boca Grande, Sanibel or Sarasota, all within 1 hour drive. World class white sand beaches are only 40 minutes in any direction.

AIRPORTS: Less than 45 minutes to Regional South West Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers or 1 hour and 45 minutes to the Tampa International Airport (TPA). Fly Direct Air into Punta Gorda Airport 10 minutes from house.

RENTAL CAR: Enterprise and Hertz are located on Tamiami Trail in Punta Gorda, Enterprise with free pick up service. If you prefer to have your own car, several companies will drive it down for you.

RESTAURANTS: Fisherman's village and lots of great restaurants in downtown all within 5 minutes.

SHOPPING: Less than 10 minutes to Fisherman's Village and lots of charming local shops in town or many major shopping malls about a half hour drive. Several Grocery Stores, Drug Stores, Banks, Wal-Mart and Home Depot within 2-5 miles.

GOLF: Closest is a private golf course St. Andrews South Country Club & Golf course less than 5 minute walk from house and long term guests can obtain memberships.

Wonderful Five Week Stay

Highly recommend this property and host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from check-in to check-out. The property was immaculate upon arrival, and we were pleased that the host reached out to us within the hour to verify that we had what we needed and were comfortable with the amenities. He was very responsive to the rare questions we had during our stay. The home was spacious and the furniture very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and soaker tub, and the tv in the lanai was a great perk. The dock provided convenient and successful fishing opportunities, and the boat traffic and occasional dolphin in the canal were fun to watch from the patio. While located on a busy street, the circular driveway assisted with access to the roadway, and little street noise was heard from inside the house or lanai. We would definitely rent this property again if available.

Beautiful Canal Lot

Upon arrival the house was spacious and clean. Wife commented that it showed better than the pictures. We enjoyed most of our time under the lanai or around the pool. Terrific sunset views over a spacious canal intersection. Steve was very accommodating and responded quickly to inquiries. Well equipped and very comfortable. Located on a busy street but close to city center and quiet in the evening. We stayed for a month; didn't want to leave and would love to return.
