Our 950 sq. ft. sub-penthouse suite is situated in Nanaimo across from the world famous Newcastle Island and located just 2-3 minutes from downtown Nanaimo. The suite features marble floors throughout, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops, 6 appliances, FREE dedicated Wifi and FREE underground parking, 3 TVs, an electric fireplace, dining area, & balcony equipped for entertaining.

*Brand new air conditioning unit (effective June 2017), SO quiet you won't even hear it running!

*KING size bed in the master bedroom

*Queen size bed in the 2nd bedroom & a queen size sofa bed in the living room (equipped to sleep 6 guests)

*TV's in both bedrooms with a 60" flat screen TV in the living room (with Netflix)

*Two bathrooms - one is a walk-in/walk out shower ideal for guests with limited mobility

Why Lisette - Reservations chose Nanaimo

Water views are nice but ocean and marina views are NICER!! :) We found the suite really relaxing and love the views from the balcony. We could sit forever on the balcony and watch the comings and goings of the boats and kayakers - it is lovely.

What makes this condo unique

The real selling points for us were the gorgeous views from the balcony and its central location within Nanaimo. Nanaimo’s downtown is only a 2-3 minute drive (within walking distance), where you can enjoy numerous opportunities for dining, shopping and entertainment. There are 3 restaurants with stumbling distance (b/w 600-800 meters).

The Nanaimo general hospital is less than 3 kms away.

Enjoy the downtown or take advantage of the many activities; kayaking, swimming, hiking, beach combing, boating, fishing, wild life viewing, wine tasting, etc., that Nanaimo has to offer.

The world famous Newcastle Island is right across the water. You can take a short (4 minute) ferry from downtown Nanaimo to Newcastle or grab a bite at the Dingy Dock Pub - Canada's only floating pub located on Protection Island.

Ensuite with walk-in shower. Queen size pull out sofa bed is located in the living room. This suite comfortably sleeps 6 persons but we do have an air mattress for a 7th person if need be. This would be ideal for a child.

We loved this condo! Perfect location with a beautiful view. A very comfortable stay with all the amenities you could possibly need. Gwen was incredibly helpful and friendly. We will absolutely be staying here again.

Can't say enough about this property and its owner

I can't say enough about this property and its owners. Everything is perfect. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. We have stayed in many properties throughout North America and this is by far the best so far. The owner, Gwen, goes above and beyond anything that could be expected. My wife has a feather allergy and she went out and purchased additional hypo-allergenic bedding for us. The condo has EVERYTHING you could need & there is an excellent start-up kit. The condo was sparkling clean. The beds, bedding and towels were all top notch. The condo is modern with a FULLY furnished kitchen (anything you would ever need and more). The owner even met us at the airport and guided us to the property when we flew in at 11:30 p.m. after a airline imposed re-schedule. I am recommending this property to family and friends since my in-laws live in Nanaimo. Top notch service and property. Special tx also to Lisette who helps Gwen. Location is excellent. You can walk to ferry.

GREAT PLACE !!! The view from the balcony is amazing !!! We spent a good deal of time just watching the boats in the marina. It is good for the soul to be so close to the water. The suite itself is nicely decorated and very comfortable, it is also well maintained and VERY CLEAN!!! Nice!!! note the windows on the marina side are huge !!! so you can’t escape the view!!!

Added bonus - our group had two rental cars and they had space for both vehicles in the buildings secure parking.

We would definitely stay here again. THANKS !!!

Spotless Jewel

We had the pleasure to use this property during the Thanksgiving long week end to visit family in the area. We were greeted by the owner who took the time to show us around the property in the middle of the night after a late flight arrival. The property was every bit as beautiful as the pictures are on the listing. Everything was spotless, fully stocked, and in new condition. There were four of us sharing the unit and we were all very comfortable with the two bedroom and two bathroom combo. The beds provided us with a great night of sleep and the views of the marina and provincial park were idyllic. We think this one is a keeper. When we return to visit the family, we will certainly be checking availability for this property again.

This rental is beautiful, great location and a fantastic view. Gwen is amazing, an absolute sweetheart and a wonderful contact for anyone planning to stay in the area. We will not be looking for anywhere else in Naniamo, this is not our go too.

it is a very comfortable and clean apartment,the location is fantastic,very close to ferry,the closeby trail is very relaxing,you can see water in one side,on the otherside has different kind of tea and coffee shop and pub,makes your walking very enjoyable,its not too far from the mall if you drive 5 to 10 mins,its a highly recommendable apartment to stay and relax.
