Beach House on Jones Beach (formerly known as Beach Break on Jones) is the perfect holiday home for a family getaway. As the name suggests, it is located across from the picturesque and popular Jones Beach (patrolled weekends - Oct to Apr and 7 days through January). Ideal for two families or the extended family, it sleeps up to 8 guests and bookings are accepted for a maximum of 6 adults (no groups of singles or parties as this is a quiet residential area and we strictly adhere to the Short-Term Rental Accommodation Terms and Conditions and the Holiday Rental Code of Conduct).
The house has a funky retro vibe with loads of space for all. Relax in the large upstairs open plan living areas featuring cathedral ceilings with exposed beams, big comfy sofas and a gas fireplace wonderful for winter bookings. There are ocean views from the living areas, kitchen and the wrap-around enclosed balcony - perfect for that quiet reflective cuppa, reading a book or to watch the sun rise over the ocean.
Downstairs is a TV room, ideal retreat for kids to zone out after a big day at Jones Beach. The adjacent converted garage, with front and rear roller doors for level access to both gardens and to capture a cooling ocean breeze, has table tennis, pool table, beach cricket equipment and an array of surfboards plus bocce and assorted balls for backyard family fun.
In the fully fenced rear garden (a gorgeous sun trap in winter) guests will find a BBQ and outdoor entertaining furniture. Perfect for long relaxed lunches or early evening BBQs. Beach House on Jones Beach has all the ingredients for that quintessential Aussie beach holiday with no need to get in the car for the rest of your break.
Much quieter than bustling Kiama, Jones Beach is a destination in its own right and has a thriving shopping centre with a well-stocked IGA, IGA bottlo, takeaway fish and chips, Cantik Place cafe, chemist/gift shop, Stacks Burgerhouse and Eatery (beef sourced from the Southern Highlands) and Kiama Golf Club with weekly specials and entertainment Friday / Saturday nights. All needs are catered for within 3 minutes walk. You can truly relax at Beach House on Jones Beach.
For those who do want to get out and about, the house is well located to make the most of the following:
Start the Coastal Walk at Jones Beach and head south past Cathedral Rocks, The Boneyard, and Bombo Beach to Kiama town centre. If continuing with the other 3 sections of the Coastal Walk you might like to take money for the train from Gerringong back to Minnamurra Station.
Kiama Golf Club (approx. 1km from Beach House on Jones Beach). 18 hole course, clubhouse with courtesy bus, bistro and wood-fired pizza oven. Open 7 days for lunch and dinner.
Pristine Minnamurra River is perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking and all calm water activities (approx. 1.2 km from Beach House on Jones Beach). Great coffee, food, cakes and paintings by local artists for sale at The General Store cafe in Minnamurra.
Just south of Jones Beach in historic Kiama you will find The Blowhole, Seafood Co-Op, restored miners cottages, The Old Fire Station Art Gallery, restaurants, cafes and a multitude of stores selling great clothes, homewares and second hand goods. Markets are on once a month - check Kiama Tourism site for Market weekends.
Only 15 minutes' drive from Beach House on Jones Beach explore rural Jamberoo with its historic Pub (bands on weekends), cafe and pie shop.
Minnamurra Rainforest can be found further west of Jamberoo. The Rainforest Loop Walk or the Falls Walk are both equally breathtaking.

This massive beach house has again exceeded my expectations. Only footsteps to Jones Beach and patrolled swimming it took all powers of persuasion to extract my two little daughters from a day of boogie boarding and beach fossicking. Complete with thousands of shells and a promise to make shell necklaces did they finally agree to cross the dunes back to Beach House on Jones Beach. No need to transport food the IGA, just minutes walk away, has got all you could need. Plus a couple of cool cafes for brekkie out. The views are awesome and sunrise over Jones Beach is a must see. This is a fantastic house to enjoy a quintessential beachside family holiday. An easy drive from Sydney. We will be back.

Perfect house for a young family. My husband and I stayed with our 1 and 3 year old. The kids loved being right across the road from the beach and a short walk from Jones Beach Playground. There was enough room to put the kids to bed and still be able to have dinner and a couple of drinks without waking them. The living areas were huge and spacious and there was a supermarket and coffee shop within walking distance. With the main strip of Kiama and all its lovely little shops and cafes a 5 minute drive away we'll definitely be coming back to stay at Beach House on Jones Beach again!

What a stunning view and fantastic family holiday home. Beach House on Jones Beach is very clean, so comfortable and well laid out with plenty of room for two families, with full bathroom and lounge on both levels. Fantastic for any rainy days with pool table in the garage and a bar area for the partakers down stairs.Lots of room for the kids to play both inside and out in the back yard, with full BBQ facilities. The incredible enclosed balcony has a great view of the ocean and can be utilised both day and night, rain, hail or shine.The well-equipped kitchen is clean and functional, this house has everything you want and need on your holiday. Situated across the road from Jones Beach with a park, coastal walk, lookouts, cafe and local IGA within walking distance. The location was ideal.

There are two sets of internal stairs at this property, please note that the front stairs are a lot less steep than the rear stairs.
This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.
The property is in a residential area and is most suitable for 2 families or an extended family it is definitely NOT a party house and any loud audible noise after 10pm will be cause for eviction.
Directions to the property and Key/Access details will be emailed to the guest at 4pm two days prior to arrival.
