Armstrong Ridge has undergone a mini-makeover. With new flooring and new blinds, the scene has been set for a tropical oasis makeover. This great little unit has gone from dull and daggy to fresh, inviting, and cheery with a tropical/glam makeover. No matter what your decorating taste, this is an affordable option in a great location for beach and boat holidays.

It is not far from Berry, mountains and wineries for winter holidays too! Whatever the season, you can relax, unwind and take the pressure off at Armstrong Ridge. It is walking distance to cafes, eclectic boutique shops and children play parks. Just a 10-minute walk or a short drive down to the beach, the rock pool, the boat ramp and harbour. The whale-watching platform on the headland is not far away either and makes a great picnic spot (access via a pathway at the end of the street).

NSW Planning has passed laws that affect guests. The Code of Conduct for holiday renting can be found on our website under the Guest Information tab. In Section 2.5.2 of the STR Code of Conduct, guests have an obligation to ensure the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises (if strata) near holiday rental properties. This means guests have to be very mindful of noise made in or outside the property that can disrupt neighbours at any time of the day.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited.

This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.

Our standard check-in time is 4 pm and check out time is 10 am. We can offer you a complimentary early check-in or late check out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Please call our team to request this prior to your arrival. Please note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check ins or late check outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure a later check out or early check in is to book the property for an extra night, please contact us to see if we can offer a special rate for this extra night. Please note that Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening of that week.

Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.

For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

Disappointed !
Property not very clean. Shower chipped. Shower curtain hanging from unattractive, rusting rail. No plugs by bedhead. Pointless bedside lamp as 10' away from nearest socket and it fell apart when moved and fitted with pygmy bulb. No lamps in sitting room. Dining room table and chairs awful and uncomfortable. Kitchen very cramped. Generally not cleaned very well. Unless you're a youngster out and about, wouldn't recommend staying here. Very hilly and long walk to beach.

Underwhelming for the price
Maintenance request: The toilet door squeeks. The curtains in the bunk bedroom do not fully close which is a privacy issue. A pair of washing up gloves and a dish mop to reach the bottom of the tall glasses would be useful additions to the kitchen sink cupboard. The red and yellow bins were not present so we were not able to dispose of rubbish. Suggest adding #3 stickers once they are returned. There were cockroaches on floor in bedroom and laundry. Centipede on the ceiling of laundry.

Exploring Gerringong
Property was very good and beds comfortable. The only issue was no air conditioning and fans old, dusty and unstable . Otherwise a great location, extremely quiet and good kitchen facilities.

Too many rules and threats of fines
Crockery & cutlery was still dirty. Not enough room for us all on the balcony & not supposed to move the furniture anyway. BBQ was dirty & situated next to the garbage bins - was gross so didn't use it. Dining chairs were uncomfortable. Oven wasn't clean to start with so to avoid being charged for someone else's mess, we didn't use the oven either. The texts from the rental managers didn't make sense sometimes and we received a response at 11:30 one night - it was too late by then. So much money to spend on very few amenities
