Great location and nice layout

This property has an excellent layout. Very nice kitchen with ample room for entertaining. We had family over for dinner and easily fir 6 adults in the dinning room. All the rooms have their own bathroom, so it worked great for us and our kids- but could easily work for multiple couples/individuals .

The location is perfect for travellers who need access to the UofA, Whyte Ave, or downtown. The LRT is less than a block away. I was able to get to meetings at Shaw Conference Centre in 10 minutes.

The bed mattresses were a little uncomfortable. The kitchen could use more dishware (only a set of 6 for all pieces). The house is on 76th AVe which is a little busy and near a fire station, so we had fire trucks come by almost every day. In my mind these are all minor issues (only reason I didn't give a 5/5 score). I would 100% recommend and I plan on staying here again if it is available.

Great home close to WEM

The home is exactly as described. The garage was such a nice bonus as its winter and parking outside is a pain. The rooms were big and cozy. The laundry set was awesome as I had my clothes washed and packed for my journey home. Would for sure rent this place again. The kitchen was beautiful.

The only things we thought could make it a 5/5 would be to find out/fix why the basement bedroom was so hot and the master bedroom on top for so cold. There weren’t any extra blankets that I could find.

We had 7 staying in the home so it would have been an extra bonus to have a tv in the bedrooms (or at least in basement) so the kids and adults could watch their own tv.

And the beds were “crunchy” I actually woke up from the noise the box spring made when I was turning in bed. A few minor improvements would make this a 5/5 for us.

Overall a great rental. Thanks Michael!

An awesome space with loads of room and privacy!

Place was great and more than served our purposes. An awesome, modern space with loads of room for entertaining and privacy. All the private washrooms is a great sell as well.

The only negatives were the couches - they have seen their day and were pretty worn out. Also, the bed in the master room, while comfortable, makes a huge amount of noise when one rolls over on it. Thinking it might be a slat problem or something like that. Otherwise everything worked and we'd rent again if need be. Thanks Michael.

Stunningly beautiful house in convenient location

We stayed here with family members for 5 nights to attend a wedding. This is a beautiful house with very high end finishes throughout: a stunning kitchen, gorgeous bathrooms, high quality laminate flooring, nice furniture etc. It is conveniently located a half block from an LRT station making it easy for a diverse group to get around independently. It is perfect for a group of friends or family since every bedroom has its own bathroom, plus there is a half-bath on the main floor. The bathrooms were well stocked with travel-size amenities. Also, the structure of the house (basement, main floor, second floor and a third floor master suite) means there is a lot of privacy for everyone. Everything looks brand new. It would earn 5 stars except for the following:

1) The high quality throughout does not include the beds. The queen size mattresses are uncomfortable, and noisy whenever you have to turn over in bed. We slept well only when totally exhausted.

This was especially disappointing considering the expense lavished on the rest of the house, and was the one thing that would make us hesitate to stay here again.

2) Although the kitchen has all the dishes, cutlery, cookware, and appliances you might need, there was nothing in the cabinets that you might expect to have in terms of basic preparation supplies such as coffee, tea, sugar, oil, etc. There was pepper, but the salt shaker was empty! This was not a deal breaker but did require a last-minute dash to the store.

Other potential negatives that may or may not be of concern: a central location close to transit means it can be noisy at times. There is a fire station down the street, so be prepared for sirens. If you're a light sleeper, pack ear plugs. (If staying in winter when windows will be closed all the time, noise may not be an issue.)

Parking in this neighbourhood can be a challenge. There is a double garage so hopefully not every member of a group staying here will have a vehicle.

To sum up: fabulous house, great location, crummy mattresses.

Very comfortable accommodations close to the University & Hospital

Our family stayed over the Easter weekend and we were really impressed that we each had an ensuite in every bedroom! The owner was easy to contact and we would definitely book this rental again!
