Chynoweth (meaning "new house" in Cornish) is a rural retreat nestled in 3.25 acres of woodland overlooking the Gunyulgup Valley. Tall Karri and Jarrah trees frame the outlook providing a picture perfect rural Yallingup scene.

Sitting on the deck, relaxing with glass of Margaret River wine, watching the sun go down over the ocean, Chynoweth will instantly touch you with its sense of calm and peacefulness. It's very hard to pack up and go home after a few days of chilling out at Chynoweth!

This modern house has only recently been completed and is tastefully finished with the latest fittings and appointments, imparting a luxurious but warm and welcoming feel to the whole abode. With a beautiful gourmet kitchen, entertaining will be a pleasure, especially with its attractive open-plan design affording the interaction with family and guests in the lounge and dining areas.

Chynoweth features a big living area providing plenty of space for families to relax together with a log fire, huge cathedral ceilings and picture windows maximising the outstanding valley and ocean views. There's also a thoughtfully equipped activities room for retreat of kids (or adults!) to play games or take time out to watch TV or a range of DVD's.

The well-appointed sleeping areas includes 4 bedrooms and 21/2 bathrooms, easily accommodating up to 10 guests. The spacious master bedroom with ensuite has French doors opening onto to the deck and sweeping valley views. With another big queen room and two tri-bunk rooms, this residence can happily house two families.

Chynoweth has a huge lush green garden which is fully enclosed by fencing to keep any 2 or 4 legged friends well within bounds. Pets are welcome outside in the garden area and there is a kennel on the deck for your convenience.

If you are bringing a pet, please add the pet fee at the time of booking and we ask that your dog is kept outside throughout the duration of your stay and you cannot leave your dog unattended at the property, this is a requirement of the local council.

Kangaroos share the surrounding bushland and often show their face at dawn or dusk. The deck area includes a large outdoor dining setting complete with BBQ and a soft furnished lounge, great for entertaining or just chilling and enjoying the view.

Although it feels so rural and secluded, Chynoweth is just a few minutes' drive from the beaches and delightful cafes, boutiques and eateries of downtown Dunsborough and Yallingup. For the times you want to immerse yourself in the fabulous local fare, you are perfectly located in the heart of the Margaret River region with an excellent choice of surrounding wineries, breweries and art galleries.

Delightful Chynoweth makes the perfect base for that "Down South" getaway.

Firewood is provided for the fireplace during the winter months. If you require firewood at other times of the year, it can be purchased at local service stations and hardware stores.

Yallingup beach is one of Australia's original surfing towns and most recently been named Australia's best town! Yallingup Beach may be a longboard mecca, but you'll also find shortboarders and the odd bodyboarder sharing the waves with the local dolphins who surf the waves there too. Sunset and swimming are unforgettable, try the lagoon or ask about the infamous natural spa, aquarium or mermaids pool!
If hiking is your scene, the Cape to Cape track runs in either direction north to south, or walk inland along the Wardanup Trail and end up at the beautiful Ngilgi Cave.
With many Yallingup wineries and the famous Caves House on your doorstep, you don't have to venture far to satisfy your taste buds.

The linen pack includes the bed made with top & bottom sheets, pillows cases, bathroom towel(s), bathmat, hand and face towel(s). K, Q or D $65, S $35, Twin Bunk $70, Tri Bunk $90. If you do not wish to purchase the linen package, you will need to bring the above.

This property is self-catering, however a starter pack of toilet paper, hand soaps, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, sponge & bin bags is provided.

School Leavers: We do not accept any school leavers bookings at any time of the year.

Exclusive Escapes wishes you an enjoyable vacation but we also ask for you to show consideration to the neighbours with respect to noise, especially after the hours of 10pm.

Council regulations allow holiday homes to be rented for accommodation purposes only and not as a function venue e.g. for a party or wedding. Functions and gatherings are not permitted and, if evidenced will be closed down immediately.
Please be aware that noise complaints are a breach of our terms and conditions and may result in forfeit of your bond and / or possible immediate eviction from the property.
