Great location
Great stay and great location, cleanliness of the place wasn’t the greatest but still ok.
Affordable apt in perfect location.
We have spent 2 weeks in this apt and it was lovely stay. Overall place is nice, quite big. I would disagree with two previous comments saying there is no view. If u look down u see car park and some other parts of the building but if u look to the horizon- it's nice view. You can see mountains..
i was there with my 8 months old baby and my mom and dad. We can't complain about the view. What I certainly didn't like is that apt was very dusty. We had to clean dryer on our own, lamps on the ceiling, vacuum the sofa.. also, I haven't taken hair dryer with us, apt doesn't have it and nobody warned us.. apt in fair condition. It's not fresh new but it's acceptable. We were in February so it was not overcrowded. But on weekend if u keep balcony doors open u can really hear everyone walking downstairs and talking. Room for kids located just at the entrance so it's very quite, there is no noise. Air conditioner works well. The oven and fridge was spotless. I really wish that they bring some more pots and pans for cooking and hair dryer. Location is perfect. 2 min walking- Woolworth, 5 min walking marina and beaches. Swimming pool is nice but of course not Olympic size Gym is poor, sauna works well. If landlord promise me to have a good clean and to collect the dust I would certainly come more.
Comfortable and good value for money
A modern apartment with plenty of space for a couple or young family. Comfortable bed in main bedroom, well-equipped kitchen. Secure undercover parking.
Lounge was comfortable but a couple of seat backs were in need of repair, the exhaust fan didn't work in the ensuite and the shower in the ensuite leaked. General cleanliness was probably adequate but the fridge was quite grubby and the oven was actually pretty disgusting. I guess none of the gripes were major, but we've been in units that appear to be a little more loved than this one. Would rate it 3.5 stars rather than 4 if I could.
No view to speak of (and none expected) but quiet location in Winter (could be noisy near the pool and BBQ area in Summer) and close to the centre of town. On balance would be prepared to stay there again - pretty good value at the price charged.
Good apartment but......
We booked this apartment as a the last minute decision. The apartment is well laid out and accommodates a family of 3 well. The location of the apartment in the complex is directly above a walk way making it very noisy. The insulation between the apartments is also lacking so you hear everything from upstairs down stairs and right next door. The common wall is onto the master bedroom and was very noisy with a family with small children in the adjacent apartment. The images shown are accurate of the apartment BUT from the verandah you are looking over a car park and the roof of the Woolworth NOT the swimming pool. This was really disappointing. The pool was lovely but small & being high summer was very busy from opening till closing so getting a toe in was challenging. The TV is very small. The kitchen is under supplied. 3 drinking glasses is not sufficent and a 2 slice toaster is not acceptable. The pots and pans are also so average that even cooking breakfast was difficult. Improving these simple things would be a great improvement. The apartment is good value for peak season in Nelson Bay.
