Located in a safe & quiet area of Midcity. We are just a short walk away from the streetcar line/bus stops, restaurants, shopping and neighborhood bars. I am pet friendly, and always available to answer any questions about the city. Comfortable bed, central AC/Heating. Free WiFi. Smart TV. We are a solar powered home and we recycle. I always have treats waiting for each new guest. This is a smoke free property, but smoking is always allowed on the front porch. What makes this House unique
As a local artist and musician, your patronage has the added benefit of contributing to the local art & music community since I exclusively use the money from this property to throw events and buy music equipment/art supplies.

Ben was very helpful. The house was nice and quaint. The toilet had some issues with flushing but we were able to deal with it during our stay, it needs a new pump you have to jiggle it to get it to turn on and fill the tank. If you are planning to cook at the house bring your own kitchen equipment. It isn't stocked with anything other than a couple bowls and glasses. We ended up buying a pan and eating out more than we would have liked. I would totally stay again for the price and the location is very convenient to be able to jump on the streetcar and get around.
Great host, inexpensive place to live like a local
Needed an inexpensive place to stay during Mardi Gras and found this gem. Ben was a great host and was very prompt in answering any questions I had. When I asked to store my luggage after check out, he let me know that he would hold the luggage for me, but then texted back a little while later and let me know I could have a late check-out which made it so easy for me to work then enjoy a little of Mardi Gras. Place is cute and most importantly, in a safe neighborhood. Would stay there again!
Clean very artistic. Vintage 1/2 house
Parking was difficult because street had large water puddle. Very well furnished for 1 person. But you need to bring 1 place serving for more than one,. And hand towels and wash cloths. The area was quiet. There are lots of nice cats on the porch,. But appear to be strays. Short walk to street car. Goes downtown and to citypark. Nearby grocery store and drugstores. Kitchen Appliances are new.
A couple of glitches but overall good
The property was cute and clean and very close to City Park, the trolley line and several great restaurants and coffee houses. When we arrived the toilet was not working. I contacted Tony and he replied very quickly, but my husband was able to get it working. Bed is very noisy though. Neighborhood was quiet and hanging out on the porch was nice.
diamond in the rough
Close to everything, safe but older neighborhood. This is a new rental and had a few things which needed addressed but the owner is responsive and we believe everything will be made right. The home is older but has had recent updates. We would stay here again - the price is certainly right.
