About Jessica Kenworthy
We have a large family and we love spending time outdoors together.
Jessica Kenworthy purchased this House in 2014
Why Jessica Kenworthy chose Chickamauga Lake
This property is right down the road from our home. We love the peace and quiet of this area and the view is amazing.
Fantastic place! We had our Dad's 60th birthday party here & it was perfect for the occasion!
Love the decor & updates to the property! Everything was awesome! The owner Jessica is super easy going & accommodating. Best sunsets & star gazing around! We can't wait to book again!
Great private waterfront home
My husband and I enjoyed a oo short 2 night stay. The property is super clean, well appointed, comfortable, and we had all we needed. It's a peaceful setting with a beautiful view and we loved listening to the sounds of nature and watching the fish jumping. Jessica was great to work with. I loved kayaking on the lake and I had the water all to myself. There are neighbors nearby, but we enjoyed complete privacy and almost no activity on the water. We used the pontoon only a little, but it was great to have access to it without having to fool around with renting from a marina. We didn't use the firepit but it's a great amenity. The hill to the lake is steep but didn't bother us,;there's a rope fence to hang onto. We enjoyed the deck for reading and there's a great grassy area right by the lake for hanging out. Weather was perfect and no bugs. We drove to Jacob Myers restaurant and had a great steak dinner one night. The only negative was the water quality; it was pretty mossy around the dock, but maybe that's a seasonal thing. Also make sure you bring a hair dryer, there isn't one provided. There are some spices provided; you need to shop conservatively because you can't leave any food behind. We hated having to discard perfectly good food. Overall it's a great property, about one hour from both Knoxville and Chattanooga and easy to get to. You will enjoy. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the water quality which is out of the control of the owners.
Beautiful CLEAN house on a very quiet lake/river
This house was awesome and the owner was extremely responsive. The house is well appointed and like I said very clean. Appears to have been recently updated. The boat was great to have.
Relaxing. Beautiful Scenery
We stayed 5 nights with 6 adults and one child. The property is very attracive, with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the breezes. There is a great, new boat dock which we swam from every day. The kitchen is decently appointed. The fire pit was a nce touch. I will have to say, the walk to the water can be treacherous for those who are not agile, or in shape. It is a quite steep slope. Our group was Ok with it--older persons may have trouble with the walk.
Very nice house. Great scenery. Very relaxing. Very nice vacation
A great 65th Birthday celebration.
Our party was very pleased with the entire house and the outdoor activities. The fire pit was well stocked with firewood and chairs. The boat was comfortable and provided wonderful views on the river and good fishing. The boat dock is a great space for family fun in the sun as well as evening sunsets. We will remember this trip for a long time and definitely consider a return.
River Rescue was the perfect fit for us.
Our family had a wonderful time. The house was wonderful, beautifully decorated, and clean. We had a lot of fun in the river swimming, boating and fishing. A great home base for doing activities in the surrounding areas. Would come back in a moments notice! The walk from the house to the river is a little steep but it just makes your legs stronger. Absolutely loved our stay.
This beautiful property is located half way between Chattanooga and Knoxville. The Cottonport Marina is located less than a couple of miles away and it offers a small store, bait shop, and a great little waterfront restaurant. The Chickamauga Lake area is one of the best locations for fisherman and water sports lovers who want the river all to themselves.
