This delightful, 2 storey, bright and airy property located on top of the Panorama Crescent in Marengo will offer you beautiful views of the ocean over Mounts Bay and the rolling hills of The Otways. Ideal for a couple or family, this house is only a 5 minutes’ walk away from the start of the Great Ocean Road Walk, the Marengo Beach/Reef and the Marengo Nature Reserve. Or a 20 minute walk along the beach or bike path to the restaurants and cafes of Apollo Bay. Staying at Surfers Delight gives you the opportunity to kick back and unwind while, listening to and watching, the waves over Marengo beach, along with enjoying a relaxing meal at the outdoor breakfast bar. Alternately enjoy a game of tennis table, watch your favourite movie on the smart TV or simply catch up on the reading you’ve been putting off all year. You may also get the opportunity to meet our resident koala who lives in the Eucalypt tree at the front of the property. Whether you are a keen surfer, bike rider, bush walker, swimmer or just love the quiet life. This property has it all for you.

Great views, very spacious family friendly space

The property had beautiful views of the beach and hills. The house was much more spacious than it looked in the pictures which was great. Very family friendly. The house has had a few updates since the photos were taken so we were pleasantly surprised by the updated main bathroom and breakfast bar on the deck. Great location, walking distance to the beach, a short drive to town and close to other local attractions like Maits Rest Rainforest walk. I can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Magnificent view

As soon as we stepped into the property we were completely delighted to see the beautiful views overlooking the beach and Apollo Bay town. It felt like you were on holidays and not in the suburbs. The place was very spacious, comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the balcony breakfast bar, having breakfast in the mornings and overlooking the ocean. It was walking distance to the rocks and to the surf beach. It was a couple of kms to the town center (3 minutes to drive and 35 mins to walk) for your grocery shopping, restaurants and life saving club but was happy enough to walk into town along the beach. My two boys enjoyed the ping pong table on the ground floor and the second TV and I enjoyed reading books out on the balcony. It was wonderful accommodation and will definitely be back again.

Lovely place wiht great views, near beach.

Lovely place wiht great views, near beach. We even had a Koala in the backyard one day. Only complaint was there was some confusion with the check in process which could have been better handled by the Great Ocean Road Holiday staff initially, though they were helpful when I called to sort things out.
