Right in the heart of Melbourne
Really handy property
Very central - trams right there
Extremely convenient surroundings. We're situated on Coromandel Pl, just off Little Collins St and accessible via Bourke St too! Only a 5min walk away from Chinatown and a 5min walk to Bourke St Mall! With the convenience of an abundance of cafes and eateries at your door step, this modern inner-city abode offers convenience and quality living at it's finest!
You're also only a stone's throw away from QV, Swanston St, Myer, David Jones, Emporium, GPO Melbourne, Melbourne Central and more.
Bourke St is also famous for it's street performers, attracting some of the city’s best musicians and artists to its spacious pedestrian precincts. Competition for the best spots is intense, so the standard of performance is generally high, making it a favourite hangout for locals to while away a couple of hours with some great free entertainment.
There are tons of things to do in the city itself which are mostly a quick stroll away.
Easy. Surrounded by trams, cabs, buses & trains, it makes getting in, out & around the city extremely convenient.
If you're not a fan of walking, there is a tram stop on Bourke St 2-steps away from where we are (Russell St Stop 7).
Most importantly, all trams within the city grid are FREE. Just look out for the "FREE tram zone" signs.
No problems hitching a cab or getting on a bus on Bourke St if you would like to head out of the city.
If you plan to take a train, Melbourne Central or Flinders St Station are only just a 10min stroll away on either side.
If you drive, the nearest paid parking lots are available just a 4min walk from us at “SECURE PARKING” - 129 Bourke St. Alternatively you may look online for other suitable parking options.
If you just need to park your car temporarily for an hour or so, then you may observe the paid street parking signs around us.
TIP: Parking in Melbourne city is extremely expensive! You'll be lucky to get away with AU$40 a day for parking. Try not to drive if you can cos you're in the FREE tram zone and public transportation in the city is just amazingly convenient. If you "REALLY" need to drive, the best tip I can give you is, rent a car from Avis Car Hire at 123 Collins St just round the corner, it will cost anywhere from AU$70 to AU$150 a day depending on what car you're looking for. Rent it for the days you need and drop it back at the depot when you're done. It's heaps better than paying for parking in the city, or Uber is also another economical option.
