Comfortable seaside apartment with sea views and walking distance to the beach

The apartment is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom delight, giving ocean views from its living room and balcony, and tranquil suburban views from the back balcony. Underground is secure parking for one vehicle.

Guests have access to the whole apartment, including a fully-equipped kitchen. Within the apartment complex, guests have free access to a sauna, games room, BBQ area, swimming pool and tennis half-court, but you need to reserve the BBQ and tennis court with the reception office.

You can walk to the beach, to a supermarket, to places to eat, and to other attractions, and access to other areas is available by bus. The Sunshine Coast bus stops right outside the apartment complex. You can just leave the car in the garage!

Sunshine Coast airport is 20 minutes away at Mudjimba and Brisbane airport is about an hour's drive. The shuttle bus from Brisbane airport drops you off a mere 5-minute walk from the apartment.

The apartment complex offers pay-for-use wi-fi internet and free wi-fi access is available in many nearby cafés.

Your hosts live nearby, and will be there to greet you on arrival and departure. We have supplied some general information about the area, including some places to visit and places to eat, and you can contact us at any time if you require further information.

About Sue Cotterell

My husband and I are retired professionals who enjoy walking, bird-watching, gardening, cooking, reading and travelling. We have three grown up children who only occasionally return to the Sunshine Coast, so we don't get the opportunity to spend as much time with them at the apartment as we once did. Their loss is your gain!

As born and bred south-east Queenslanders, we know the local area very well and love to share its charms with friends and visitors. We believe in a sustainable lifestyle and support local farmers and food growers as much as we can. When we travel we love exploring new places and like to stay off the tourist path.

Australia Zoo - home of the Crocodile hunter - is about 20 minutes drive from the unit Skirmish is about 10 minutes drive away The Hinterland area - about 40 minutes drive - has rainforest walks , waterfalls , lots of interesting shops and restaurants and extensive views of the coastline

Excellent location, great apartment

We stayed here a week. You can't beat the location of this well appointed apartment. Over the road there is an excellent swimming beach, lots of restaurants nearby and a Coles supermarket (and bottle store) just around the corner. The apartment itself has a full kitchen. The lounge and dining have quality furnishings. Beds are very comfortable with excellent linen. We stayed here with another couple, each with our own bathroom. There's aircon and a pool to cool you down. Plus a secure basement car park. Despite being right in the center of things it's very quiet at night so we all slept well. Sue is lovely to deal with, a great communicator and very helpful.

Mooloolaba is great place to holiday and this apartment is where you should stay! Highly recommended.

Happy camper

My two adult daughters and I had a most enjoyable stay at the unit. It was clean and well stocked with everything you could need for a beachside holiday. The owner met us on arrival and provided tips for local eating and attractions.

The building has two lifts and secure parking which made getting in and out of the place very easy.

The location was fabulous with everything only a few minutes walk away.

I plan on returning and would recommend it to anyone.

The apartment is well situated on the Mooloolaba Esplanade, but far enough away from the pubs and clubs to be quiet. Two patrolled surf beaches are nearby, and the main dining strip and shops are within 100 metres.

Other attractions in the area include Underwater World (within walking distance) an Olympic swimming pool (10 minutes away at Cotton Tree), and there is a bike/walking path all along the coast, as well as plenty of parks with play areas for the kids. Aussie World and Australia Zoo are both in easy driving distance (10-15 minutes and 20-25 minutes respectively).

Two large shopping centres are easily accessible: Sunshine Plaza to the north, and Kawana shopping district about the same distance to the south.
