During the fall and other off-season months, the property is an outstanding getaway providing excellent privacy for couples and small groups. The bays private tidal beach offers calmer and warmer shores create one of the few private, true swimming beaches in Maine. There are no drop offs or rough surf to worry about and our westward facing tidal bay makes for some of the "warmest" swimming water in all of Maine. L.L. Bean kayaks, stand-up paddle board, canoes and lounging rafts are located directly on beach for easy use. This rare tidal bay property has access to the open ocean, but no power boats are provided or available. The property is home to bald eagles and other important and protected birds and flora, as the property abuts conservation land.
