IDEAL LOCATION! "Yellow Bike Chalet" is a beautiful, non-smoking, tastefully furnished chalet located on a level, treed lot close to Hayward. 3,000 acre Grindstone Lake is one of the clearest lakes in the Hayward area and provides excellent fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, pontooning, and more. This lake is big, but is very quiet. Enjoy the level lot and sandy beach. The beachside firepit is great for s'mores and stories. The kitchen is perfect for your lake vacation - gorgeous and with views to the lake so you feel in the center of everything even when preparing meals or snack.

Enjoy your coffee on the ground level deck overlooking the lake. Our level lot provides easy access to the aluminum dock and sandy beach. Yes, the shore front is sandy and no stairs! Mature trees provide plenty of privacy. Adirondacks, lounge chairs and a picnic table provide comfortable outdoor seating and dining. The outdoor enclosed shower is plumbed with both hot and cold water to provide a quick way to rinse off or is perfect for your daily shower. It’s the only shower the owners use during the summer months. A small lakeside fire pit is perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying the sunset. The driveway is fully paved and is large enough for 4-5 vehicles. The whole family will enjoy the level paved basketball court.

The interior of the cabin is immaculate and tastefully decorated with a northwoods cabin feel. The cabin features cedar ceilings and walls throughout. Our massive kitchen island seats 6 people. Double wall ovens and stainless steel appliances make meal preparation easy for a large group. The kitchen is a gourmet cooks delight and is extremely well equipped. We have a beautiful custom made, large dining table with seating for 8. The open concept main floor allows flow from kitchen, living room to the 3 season screened porch facing the lake. The home has a wood burning fireplace and wood is provided. There is also free wifi and one smart TV for streaming. A gas grill is provided for outdoor cooking. All bed and kitchen linens are included -you will need to bring your own beach and bath towels.

The chalet features queen sized beds and sleeps 12. Two main floor bedrooms share a full bath with walk in shower. This bathroom is equipped with grab rails beside the toilet and in the shower. A third bedroom is located in the upper level and the loft area also has 4 beds. There is a full bath on the upper level.
