Everything about this was awesome. Early morning hot tub over looking cda lake. Evenings by the out door fireplace enjoying the fresh Idaho air. Check in was a breeze. I would stay here many times over!
Beautiful home and property with a gorgeous lake view! Especially loved the hot tub and sauna!
Beautiful space but read for correct expectations
I’ll get right to why this didn’t get 5 stars from me. 1st the listing and a lot of reviews says private. It should not be listed as private. Private to me is a completely separate space where it is completely closed off by at least a door and no risk of running into the owner. This is not the case. The bedroom door can be closed. The tv room can be closed. But all the space in between is essentially open to the rest of the house. And in winter you can’t use the private entrance. You have to go through the homeowners front door and then down the stairs. Just wanted to make that clear because it wasn’t clear to me when I read the listing. 2-the lack of kitchen in combination with any store/restaurant being 35+min away makes it tricky. You have to bring food that you can microwave or just eat raw. There is a grill on the deck that we could have used but didn’t know that until we had already picked up the food for the weekend. Like I said, we made it work fine but that takes away a star for sure. 3-the WiFi was terrible. When my husband and I take this annual trip we like to take some time to get caught up on work without interruptions and we brought our fire stick to get caught up on shows we never have time to watch at home. We couldn’t have more than one device using WiFi at a time. Either one laptop or the tv but not both laptops at the same time. If all you are doing is just streaming tv only it was fine. And 4-the couch in the tv room was terrible! The most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever been on. Again - when we take these trips one of our favorite things is to lay in bed and watch shows - because we never do that all year! And there was no tv in the bedroom so we had to use that horrible couch. So there is the bad...onto the good if you are still reading. The views of the lake are stunning. The porches are nice (if it weren’t winter). The home is well built, high quality and tastefully decorated. The owners are gracious and despite it not being “private” we didn’t see them unless we were coming or going. So as long as you understand exactly what to expect - it’s a great space.
We are so sorry your expectations fell short on so many fronts. Our goal is to provide everything you expected and to have missed it for you so extensively is very disappointing for us.
(We would like to note regarding the privacy issue that the space provided is on a fully separate floor that we do not use when we have guests, and yes, winter snow and ice make the private entrance a little iffy to use.)
Again, our apologies for your experience. We hope you find your perfect place on your next visit out to Lake Coeur d'Alene.

Amazing Space, Great Hosts
We had dinner reservations that ended up pushing out check-in time later than expected — Ted was very accommodating and graciously walked us through all the amenities within the space. A truly gorgeous home with everything you need for a luxurious, relaxing getaway. If you’re looking for a Coeur d’Alene stay beyond the simple hotel experience, definitely look into this space.
Just needed a couple of days to rest a recharge our batteries. That’s was exactly what we got
30 minutes to restaurants, shopping in Coeur d'Alene.
Skiing: also Lookout Pass near Silver Mountain, Mt. Spokane near Spokane, and Schweitzer in Sandpoint.

Why Property Manager/Owner chose Harrison
Our LakeStar home was designed and built by us. We spent many years planning just where the sunlight would shine through in each window and how to make rooms that our guests would have privacy and enjoy the majestic beauty of the lake just as we do. Our home is also just as comfortable in the wintertime with radiant heated floors and a fireplace that you can enjoy next to the hot tub.We are so blessed to live in this magical spot and hope to share the splendor of nature here with you!
What makes this Studio unique
Bring your boat and tie it up in our deep water boat slip. Fish for small mouth bass right from our dock. We are on a bay with a great reputation for bass (we have a pole you can use; bring your reel and tackle).
