About this property

Camp Two Pines is steps from the waters’ edge with breathtaking sunset views and almost 300 feet of private lake frontage. This home was built in 1988, has been in the Erickson family for over 25 years and provides modern amenities with an open floor plan. The house has 1.3 acres of wooded land and a large front lawn with direct access to the lake.

The house sleeps 13 people, great room with a large stone fireplace, large kitchen with island counter, 4 bathrooms, cable/flat screen TV, wireless internet, and views overlooking Lake Placid and the Adirondack Mountains. Just off the family room is a very large deck facing the lake. There is a master bedroom suite on the first floor with a king sized bed. There is a large loft that can sleep 4 people. The 3 remaining bedrooms have queen beds, one of which has its own private bathroom.

Also available to guests are kayaks, paddleboard, and large dock with a slip for a guest's boat.

Camp Two Pines is heated for year round rental and is 15 minutes from Whiteface Mountain and only 5 minutes to the historic town of Lake Placid.

We love Two Pines!

This was our 4th year here. It is perfect for our family of 7 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. The house is large and gives all of us space! We love the dock and kayaks. Wish the weather had been better, but what can you do. We had lots to do. There was a small issue that Tom had fixed while we were out to lunch! We wanted to rent Two Pines next year but the earlier week we wanted wasn't available. :o( so we are staying on the same penisula, just around the corner.

We go to Lake Placid every summer for the two weeks of the horse show. We have stayed at Two Pines for the last 3 years and already reserved It for next year! The house is right on the lake and has a great dock(you can rent a boat from captain marneys by the day or for your whole stay) and It comes with paddle boards and kayaks. It has a huge back deck with a grill and wonderful views and also has a fire pit. I love the location it’s on the peninsula and very private. I would say it’s about a 3 mile drive to down but very easy. The last mile to the house is a dirt road and there is a long private driveway with plenty of parking(easily fits 4-5 cars). The house is quite large….large deck, large kitchen, huge family room with an extra large coach, two big tables for meals inside as well as a table and chairs on the deck, large laundry room. This house is great for a group(we had 6 people could easily fit a few more). The house is a bit older but is really well maintained. It is a bit of a “camp” feel but has everything you need. The house does not have a/c but It has lots of big windows and box fans and i’ve never felt like I needed the a/c. The host is easy to get ahold of and there is a local caretaker if you have any problems! We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing House in Perfect Location

We had a wonderful trip! The house is huge and immaculate. Lake views are wonderful and we loved the fireplace and proximity to hiking trails. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of hot water to fill up the giant jet tub in the master. Host super responsive. Would stay here again!
