Dirty and disappointing

Gardener comes with a small heads up through email, no option to refuse, just told that they will be there , he was there from 8am and we had left around 2pm and he wasn’t even near finished. House has cracks in all the walls and many markings and dirty walls. Bleach and other chemicals in easy reach in kitchen cabinets under sink, and some without lids, very dangerous for kids. Pots and pans cupboards are absolutely disgusting and filthy, dirty marks and even mouse/rat poo. Left over food who knows how long that has been there for? Utility/cutlery drawers are dirty and a mess. Had to clean them before use. Linens cupboards, blankets are just thrown inside. And a random bag full of empty wine bottles? Tv remotes and ac remote, why do I have to share batteries with every single remote? Why is this not even checked before new people are in the house? Bathroom has other random people belongings just left in there? And for the laundry the peg bucket, half of them are broken? Black worm like bugs throughout the house as well. This house is disgusting and shouldn’t have been rented.

Great for what we wanted

This place was perfect for three couples to get a beach holiday in over the new year. Was as functional as you need but basic.

Great location close to the beach and an easy walk to a cafe.

House is very comfortable. A few things required in the kitchen. Sharp knives, chopping boards, new toaster and new cutlery set. Used the washing machine once but wouldn’t risk it a second time.
