About Virginia Lomel
We have owned this property with our good friends for 20 years and restored it to it's original glory from the ground up. We have both rented and lived in this house on and off for 20+ years and still live and work in the area today. You will often see my husband working on the grounds. We have all lived in Charleston for over 25 years and truly enjoy helping people seek the best Charleston has to offer!
Virginia Lomel purchased this Apartment in 1995

The property was charming - a perfect cozy getaway.
We loved the property. It was off the beaten path enough that you could quietly relax in the courtyard with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, but was an easy and quick walk to all the best that Charleston has to offer. The space is small but skylights really make it feel open and warm. The owners were wonderful to work with and we're looking forward to many more stays.
Great location and patio
Great location and patio
Cute apartment in great location.
The apartment was in a great location, either a reasonable walk or short Uber ride to many restaurants and places to visit. We really appreciated the Keurig and coffee provided.
Convenient & very clean
Convenient location, great for walking to King Street shopping and dining. Off-Street parking space is a wonderful perk compared to price of valet parking at downtown Charleston hotels.
Apartment was very clean and cozy. The extras provided by the owners were very nice - wine, well-stocked kitchen, lots of towels, and washer/dryer.
Very good experience.
Quaint little apartment on a quiet street
Ginny and Kevin’s apartment was perfect. Clean and comfortable. Quiet area. Everything for us was within walking distance. King Street is just a few blocks away with lots of places to eat and see. Since it’s not in the center of town I feel it gave us the chance to see places we wouldn’t have because we wouldn’t have come up as far King street. Some of the restaurants were outstanding close to the apartment. Virginia’s on King was so good as well as Five Loaves Cafe. (Not on King) but close to the apartment. Before we left we were already talking about how soon we can return and stay here again. Both Ginny and Kevin were there right away with any questions we had. They were in touch with us making sure we were doing ok. I would recommend staying here
Good locale. Cozy digs.
The parking situation was not to our liking. The 'apartment' was clean and relaxing and the patio was wonderful. Really quiet neighborhood and safe to walk at night to town and back. We had intended to return to this locale, but the recent hurricane cut our trip short by a week, so obviously we would stay there again. The owners are nice....wish we could have met them in person.
I apologize that you had a parking issue, i wish I had known there was an issue during your stay and we could have resolved it. The week of the hurricane Florence was quite hectic for all involved. I had a good bit to handle and regret not being able to meet you and for your trip being cut short. I do hope you can stay again
Additional information about rental rates
We are very familiar with this industry both in our own travel and in booking reservations for rentals. We are most appreciative of all inquiries, but given the demand for this region of Charleston, we will not hold a general inquiry without deposit. A general inquiry with deposit will hold for 48 hrs before it is released and refunded if it is not confirmed with full payment.
